Well, my curiosity had been killing me so I finally succumbed and gave NT a try. Ordered 30ml of Wakonda and 15ml of CLS just a minute ago. Hope that it impresses me as much as all of you.

My hardware is probably lacking.....and alas, I don't have a dripper yet. But, I run an Eleaf istick , have a Lemo.... and i rebuild my Kanger Protanks with cotton and microcoils. It's been working so far. Really want to give the Reo thing a try too...but my wife may kill me if I spend any more money on vaping. (We both quit smoking and vape, but she was a light smoker, and is a light vaper.... I promised her we'd be saving $ by vaping, because I believed it at the time. That hasn't proven to be the case yet...LOL.)

Any suggestions for the Wakonda and CLS given my equipment limitations? I love a coffe vape but got the CLS mostly to broaden my horizons. I haven't tried too many sweet e liquids yet.

Been vaping about two and a half months now. I did have one week where my equipment was all failing, I was frustrated and quite frankly having major cig withdrawl...so I smoked 1 pack over that 5 day period. Been vaping exclusively otherwise.

I recognize Soignee from the Lemo thread, I think but wanted to join the group....you all seem pretty chill. Anyhoo, hello!

Greetings and Welcome!!
Wakonda will taste great in any of your tanks.
My first experience with it was in a PT3 refitted with an aero base and, like you, cotton re wicked coils. The flavor will not suffer!
One tip: well steeped Wakonda is a tastegasm. That said, prepare for a journey of flavors with Wakonda. It's a multilayered concoction that will offer different front notes and finishes as it ages.
Enjoy your bottle, but order another to just let steep while you experience the first.
Can you tell I love this stuff?

Thanks. Just wanted to clarify my initial post. I definitely think the Lemo is an excellent RTA. And, the Protanks are great when i finally get through the struggle of getting a rebuilt coil in there. What I intended to say by limitations of my equipment is that I don't have the ability to sub ohm or run really high power....and no dripper. I was just referring to any advice on how people bring the best out of Wakonda and CLS.

But yes, I am trying to put the equipment I have to work. I almost tossed the Protanks till I resigned myself to rebuilding them with cotton. I couldn't keep them from flooding out on me with the stock silica wicking.

By the way, I noticed Wakonda had the mixed batch date but not the CLS. What should I infer from that?

So, I can push 50 watts if I need to, but I rarely get over 25. I vape the CLS no higher than 10 watts on a regulated (I don't generally throw Custard's in a dripper-but that's just my thing) and get plenty of flavor. Maybe I need to experiment more with it?

Wakonda I will start at around 9 watts for the Coffee flavor end and push the wattage up for the Tobacco end of the spectrum. I like to play with my wattage constantly, it's like a nervous tic thing or OCD  I will sort of end up at either Coffee or Tobacco at some point. Mornings Coffee, evenings Tobacco.

Hey Folks! This week I jumped in the pool and put in my first order! I've been reading great things all the converted and addicted have said about NT, and Im so excited. My order shipped today! Let the mailman stalking begin! Been in a juice rut recently, nothing amazes this palate anymore. Tastebuds need a reboot. Ordered some Virus (6 for me and 18 for a very good, very unaware smoker friend) and Wokonda at 15ml and overfilled! Oh yeah I'm ready and feelin the love. Gear wise an mvp2 and eleaf Istick, Veritas RDA and Nautilus Minis.

Hello Wheats! action-smiley-065.gif Welcome to the NuThouse! Enjoy those two vapes! They are two of my favorites!!

Sloth? Did you hijack kent's account?

Kent does sound like Sloth at times doesn't he? And here I thought I was the only one that noticed! Lol

And I'd really like to know where my standard issue uniform is? I wasn't offered one when I showed up here and made my 1st order. :( I feel like the red headed step child! And no offense meant to any red headed step children here. It's an old southern saying.

Welcome to the family!

I just ordered the Wakonda as you did. I'm so excited to get it, too. Have you thought about getting the Virus (H1N1)? It is amazballs. Seriously. I vape FOOB and I love it.

I developed a sweet tooth after I found NT. I was recommended to get Grandma's Cinnamon Danish on the main threads because for bring dead taste buds back to life. Since then, I'm addicted to the sweets! Your taste buds start evolving after you quit smoking. Give it a try! GCD, you can't go wrong. Delicious.

Good luck and let us know what you think!

Take care,
Dani

B2T, glad you found your way to NT and this forum. Just to prove how nice this place is, even though you mentioned Soignee, people still welcomed you...

I DO have that affect on people, don't I?
Is it my Bobnoxiousness? :D

Will your damn banner ever click over?

Yeah, it's funny. Most of the liquids I have tried and thought I would love left me disappointed. The stuff my wife ordered that I thought sounded nasty have kinda been some of my favorites. I guess what tastes good for me to eat or drink isn't always a good vape for me. Conversely, I used to smoke menthols and have yet to found ANY menthol that does it for me. Most of it's like vaping Vicks. Maybe I just expect too much from the menthol since I smoked menthol for so many years.

I am finding out I really am not a fruity vape person. Although, I don't have much of a discriminating vape taste otherwise. I am fairly ok with most of the liquids I've tried. Still no ADV found yet. Maybe Wakonda or CLS will be it!

Again, thanks to everyone who responded. I read each and every response.......even if I didn't respond individually to all of em. You all make this sub forum very appealing to join. That was one of the appeals of NT for me.

Been spendin too much time here lately so back to work it is!!

You are a very welcome addition. It is the flow of new folks like you that build upon what we started last year and continue to help our family grow!

welcome to the family, bored. +1 on the wakonda... if you can let it steep for 3 months, your mind will be blown.

I know for a fact that I won't be able to let it steep for 3 mos. I'll be lucky to let it steep for 3 days. By the way, I was wondering ...it looked like the batch was made 9/13/14.......so it has already steeped for 2 mos? Is that what it means?

The CLS I bought didn't seem to have the date the batch was made. Wondering why some NT liquids give a date and others don't? Anybody??

The batch date is when it was mixed and then you have the date on the liquid itself which is when it was bottled for your order. Not sure why CLS doesn't have the mixed dates listed like the others. And yes they all have been steeped before shipping.
