So I bought my first APV after a good amount of research. I have a 10650 battery in my SID.. A xJet tank with a 2.1 ohm atty.. I have the vv set to 3.7 and had the vw set to 6 watts. Either the atty burns out extremely quick or I'm getting burnt hits consistently.. I've done all the calculations in terms of voltage x voltage / ohm for watts and voltage / ohm for amps.. Got poor results.. Then read that the sweet spot is between 6-8 watts. I'm still getting burnt hits more often then something pleasant. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

It's a Vision X.Jet BDC Vivi Nova Clearomizer.

Whatever wick that comes with the tank

Yes 18650 battery

The juice I'm using is suicide bunny original bunny or "OB"

It's a pretty thick juice but same as the others I've used it seems

Yes but when I turn the voltage or wattage down I'm not getting much of a throat hit

Sounds like you are getting dry or burnt hits off the clearomizer. This could either be a poorly wicking head or your puff/draw technique is wrong.

You can't hit an e-cig like a cigarette. The draw technique must be a long, slow, gentle draw of 4 - 6 seconds in length. Imagine sucking on a straw in a thick milkshake. Taking too hard or a hard short draw will either flood the juice attachment or cause dry hits because it can't keep up with your technique.

If your e-liquids are particularly thick, any wicked juice attachment may struggle to wick properly. Hence, give the wicks time to feed juice to the heating coil with the above described techniques. You might try thinning down the liquids some by adding a small amount of distilled water to the tank.

I've changed the way I hit the ecig and getting much better results. Thank you. I'm used to smoking a pack of newports a day and I'm in the army so I'm used to smoking a cig in about 3.2 seconds.. Now that I've slowed it down it's far better. Thank you much.
