First Post Simple Question

Hello all,

I have a simple question for this community which is considered the most knowledgeable regarding e-cig products.

I have been using e-cigs on and off for a long time, but am making a go at trying to get completely off real cigs. Now I have been using Green Smoke all these years, and its not bad, but my main problem with Green Smokes is that you get a good hit for the first 10-15 pulls off the cartridge and then the hit becomes very mild and unsatisfactory.

Recently I have tried njoy Kings, which are amazing. They hit consistently throughout their entire life and are definitely the best experience I have had with e-cigs. The problem is they are super expensive and don't last very long.

What I would like to know is if any rechargeable e-cigs can provide me with an experience similar to Njoy Kings throughout the entire life cycle of the cartridge, or at least a substantial portion. I have heard good things about volts from surfing this forum, but I want to confirm that volts are the best for this type of expectation.

I am looking for cig sized e-cigs, not big batteries for now. Also money is not a huge issue for me, I can budget at least $200 to get set up and willing to spend up to $75-100 per month to get the cartridges. I do not want to go through the process of mixing up my own juice and then pouring it into the cartridges, I don't really have much time during the day unfortunately. What do you guys recommend?

i use bloog but its very similar to volts. i love my little guys. you might like the larger volts.
.i think they are called XL. get a personal charging case too. its well worth it. also get 3 batteries not two. you will sometimes find you have killed a battery before the second is done charging.
i also just got some volt cartomizers and i love the ice menthol flavor. but do yourself a favor and get a bottle of juice in the same flavor as the cartomizers you chose. cartomizers are super easy to fill and you will save a lot of money filling your.own

Here is the easiest way to refill cartomizers.
the condom method
1 take one of the rubber caps from your cartomizer and fill it about half to three fourths full with juice.
2 gently press the battery end into the cap full of juice. go slow and easy. 10 seconds or so to push the cartomizers all the way down to the bottom of the cap.
3. wipe off the metal connector and threads on the bottom.

i promise you that it is so easy you wont mind doing it and it leaves your cartomizer just like a factory fresh one

Well, rats...the greensmoke is a KR808-D2, not a KR808-D1 (not sure of the diff, but they won't work with a KR808-D1 carto). Here's an old post from dormouse:
"...KR808D-2 (aka Chinese wholesaler model E9) is the rip-off rebrander favorite cartomizer model. The rebranders usually also sell cartos that are harder to refill (hard-caps). And many of the sellers of KR808D-2 rebrands lie hugely about how long a cartomizer lasts. And it is incompatible with KR808D-1. Re KR808D-2 adapters - no - I think there is an adapter to use KR808D-2 cartomizers on a 510 or Ego battery. I have not seen the opposite..."

The nJoy appears to be rn4081's but, at least you can get adapters for those to go to a Smokeless Image KR808-D1 carto. Think I'd do that...get an adapter and a pack of carto's from SI (you can get kanger and other brand KR808-D1 cartos at several places including GoodProphets.com). If you like them, get the full kit from SI with the 78mm batts. Please note that they currently have an issue with the manual batteries not working with their PCC's so either don't get a PCC or get the auto batts...I'dd skip the PCC and get the manuals, but I just like the control from a manual batt.

i use the rn4081(basicly the smoking everywhere at 1/3 the cost they rip you off for)
you can get them almost anywhere on the net, use cartomizers and clean everytime you change flavors. It takes about 15-20 drops to totally soak a cartomizer good. i let them sit for a few hours before vaping on a recent fill so i know its good and soaked in. i top ooff as nessecary, usually 1-3 drops an hour keeps the flavor at its peak.

i like the rn4081 because its the same size as a analog. those humongous e cigs that are as fat as a quarter are cool, but a bit much for my liking.

If you are sticking with the stick batteries then you are going to be with an 808 or 510 most likely and the battery life (while not horrible) will not be as consistent or last as long as some of the larger PV or VV rigs that you read about.

As other have pointed out most stick or pen batteries will fit with other brands pre-filled cartos but you can save yourself some time and money and (event thought you don't think it) buy some small clearomizers that fit the sticks. This gives you a little taste of what the big tanks have to offer and also give you the ability to fill them up by simply dropping in a few drops. If you want to stick with 808 style cartos and threading then you should check out Electronic Cigarettes from Cigeasy - Home of the Easy E-Cigarette they have some clearomizers that use 808 threds and also have some middle of the road 808 batterys that might be a good middle of the road battery.

I was one who only bought cartos at first as well because it seemed like a pain in the .... to drop in and fill up cartos etc but once I got into clearomizers and tanks I found it so easy and the taste / TH was so much better that it was totally worth the min to just drop in some juice and keep vaping.

I wish you luck on the full switch!

Thanks for taking the time to reply everyone, so the recommended consensus seems to be volts? I'll try those next. Thanks again!

I mean ... all these 808/510 kits are basically the same. So it sorta comes down to the non-technical details. The Volt kit is generally $5-$10 cheaper than similar kits and comes with a 90 day warranty as opposed to the 14-30 day you'll generally get with an online reseller.
