Hello everyone! I have lurked here for awhile, finally decided it was time to join the forums!
I read and read and re-read on here before making my first purchase, a Volt Starter Kit from Smokeless Image.
I loved it when I got it and put down analogs then and there! Havent had an analog in about a month now!
Went from 2 packs to nothing pretty much overnight. Then the "I want a bigger battery" bug bit me and I ordered
a KGO Starter Kit from Hoosier Ecig. I love that too! I use both now depending on whats going on and where I am going.
Anywho, after vaping for about a month now, I have lost my taste when vaping tobacco flavored juices. I can taste the sweet juices I have, but the tobacco notsomuch....
Anyone have any ideas what I can do to get my bacca taste back?

Welcome Jeff! Most likely you won't get your taste back for bacco flavors...It happens and it's not a terrible thing. Your tasters are waking up and now know how bad they really were. Have you tried to mix your own baccos yet. Those usually taste much better. My personal favorite is a vanilla/coffee with a dash of tobacco flavoring. It's pretty darn good too.

Welcome to ECF Jeff! Losing your sense of taste is a common thing when you quit smoking. It is generally short lived and when it returns I think you'll be surprised! Also, make sure you're drinking PLENTY of water. Not getting enough can effect this as well as dehydrate you. It's very important to stay hydrated with vaping. I tend to drink h2o sometimes between vapes to help clean the pallet. Good luck!

Hi JeffinNC, welcome to ECF and congrats.
As noted by bigtime:
The vapor comes from our bodies and not the juice. PG and more so VG "trap" the moisture in our mouth, throat and lungs and thus the vapor. Dehydration is an issue with vaping and I drink 2 large glasses of water in the a.m. and 2 liters per day.

I'm having the same issue. I have been analog free for seven weeks and my taste seems to come and go on some flavors. I have found a trick that works pretty good, take a big wiff (smell) off the bottle when you drip then puff away. .

I bought one with my KGO and I cant figure it out..I punched the hole bigger and everything
I dont know what else to do..

With tanks the PG/ VG ratio is very important. Too much VG and no juice flow while too little VG and flooding. There is definitely a learning curve associated with tanks as witnessed by the many posts in the New Members Forum.

The same thing happened to me. After 3 weeks, all my juice tasted like nothing! The only thing I could taste was menthol. It lasted about 2 weeks. Now I am fine. I have been vaping abut 7 weeks now.

Thanks Vapoor eyes er! I just punched the pre-drilled hole a little bigger, and yes, I was and still am lost on that tank LOLBut I can fill up a cartomizer and roll on with that and Thanks Sandy! Mine has lasted about a couple of weeks now I think, so maybe my taste will come back like yours did!
