Hi All,

First post from a new member. My eGo-T arrived last week and I've been using it (vaping?) exclusively since then. Which is not bad for someone who has smoked for fifty years (but with fifteen off while the kids were growing up).

I've got several questions, but first off, I ordered my eGo from a mail order firm, it's marked "GEL eGo-T". However, the manual supplied is for something called an "eGo-CE4" which isn't what I've got. I wonder if it is possible to download the manual for my model from somewhere?

Regards,
Nick.

Hi Nick,

I didn't get any manual with my eGo kit either, but as I'm sure you're aware, most of the eGo setup is pretty generic between brands. I've learned pretty much everything I needed from reading this forum, and watching YouTube videos. The original eGo I believe was from Joeytech.com, maybe you can find some of the information you're looking for there.

Good luck!

In a van ............down by the river
That's a great manual...NOT

There's a new version of the eGo battery.
The eGo-T or -C upgrade or V2.

This upgrade allows the battery to run in "unregulated" or Battery Power Mode(as described below).

Constant Power Mode: Delivers a rock solid 3.3V regulated output constantly. (Standard)

Battery Power Mode: Drives your atomizer or cartomizer at the internal battery voltage. (New Mode)This means that on a fresh charged battery, you could vape this device at almost 4.2V!

How It Works:

Switching from Constant Power to Battery Power Mode:
1. Press the button 5 times within 3 seconds to activate the 5-click protection feature. (It will blink Blue or White(depending on if it's a C or T) at this time)
2. Press and hold the button for approximately 6 to 7 seconds until the light blinks orange.
3. Press the button 5 times again within 3 seconds to turn the battery back on in the Battery Power Mode.

Switching from Battery Power back to Constant Voltage Mode:
1. Press the button 5 times within 3 seconds to activate the 5-click protection feature. (It will blink Orange at this time)
2. Press and hold the button for approximately 6 to 7 seconds until the light blinks white.
3. Press the button 5 times again within 3 seconds to turn the battery back on in the Constant Power Mode.

If your battery light doesn't change color, it's not this version.

All the ones I have say "upgrade" right under the eGo-C or -T on the body.

HTH = Hope That Helps

Hi Nick,
ego-t clearomizer kit, ego-t CE4 kit, ego-t with clearomizer, ego-t 1100mah kit GEL is a trading name and it is ego-t CE4 e cigarette and all ego-t ce4 are similar and operate similarly. I never understand about ego-t original as ego-t is a type of ego and produced by many factories. One of them is called is joytech and it is popular in UK. As far as i know all e cigarettes should have ROHE and CE certificates.
