Today was my first try at public vaping. I took my daughter for her first orthodontist appointment where I vaped discretely but consistantly both in the waiting room and in the exam room. No one said a word to me even when I puffed at the desk while the receptionist checked us in. Again, I was discrete, but I didn't hide. I made sure to hold it in my palm and not like an analog (so it was clearly not a traditional cigarette), but no one so much as asked what it was or questioned me in the least. Just thought I would share what I consider to be a trouble-free first experience here in Los Angeles.

When I'm in public places I've noticed that I get different "looks" depending on how I hold the thing.
If I hold it like a cigarette, I get the whoa, what the heck are you doing looks. Even though I'm vaping with a blue or red 901 with a blue light. If I hold it as you describe, I don't even get so much as a glance.

It's a fabulous solution to years of nicfits! Where have these things been all my life? : )
