Currently I am anolog smoker ( did I spell that right? Not used to it being called that!) I have been reading over these forums for days trying to make a decision and have finally settled on the VK being my first choice after all the wonderful reviews on this forum.:D
I seem to have missed out on the cupon code for 20% and I don't know where to find the 10% one:( but I am happy that I will be saving in the future.
I have already decided which one I want but I am still wondering a few things Like:
I am wondering what flavor closely resembles a Camel cigarette? ( to make the transition easier I hope )
And how many Cartomizers I should start off ordering ?
I have decided I will supplement with the NObacco juice but again which flavor and how many bottles I should order for perhaps a months amount?
I have all kinds of questions like how long will a cart and same atomizer last with refilling approx?

I currently smoke 1 1/2 to 2 packs a day

for those wondering I am looking at the VK Ultimate ultimatum with the PCC, 2 batterys, and that comes with 5 Carts
Any and all Help or recomendations is truly much appreciated! Thanks!

Code SMILIN for 10% off.

You could try the Camel carts and juice. I haven't tried them yet.

I really like the RY4 and the French Pipe for tobacco flavors.

And how many Cartomizers I should start off ordering ?

1 cart is approximately 1 pack. But you may tend to vape more in the beginning.

I have all kinds of questions like how long will a cart and same atomizer last with refilling approx?

Recommended is fill them up 3 times and then move on to the next. You can sometimes squeeze out more than 3 times. I've heard some people have filled 10 times.

Nice kit. I think you'll love it.

Taste among tobacco flavors is a very subjective thing. I didn't find marlboro very close to a real marl, but i found Hilton closely ..but not perfectly of course...replicates an analog. if you're trying to quit analogs entirely, and if you ever smoked menthols, I very strongly recommend menthol carts, cause of all the attempts to date at copying the analog experience, menthol comes closest in my opinion. if you utterly hate menthols..some do, go with hilton..thats my personal opinion.

And how many Cartomizers I should start off ordering ?
I have decided I will supplement with the NObacco Juice but again which flavor and how many bottles I should order for perhaps a months amount?
Cartomizer lifespan is approximately 2-3 hours of hard vaping, and longer for people who dont breathe through the thing. Steve breathes through his and burns off like 6 a day. Thats hardcore. I smoked 3.5 packs of analogs a day, and i burn off about 4 at home, less on work days of course. Hard to estimate between individuals, i'd bet there's people here who vape 1-2 a day too.
I have all kinds of questions like how long will a cart and same atomizer last with refilling approx?

I have carts ive refilled probably 9 or 10 times. As long as youre careful not to incinerate them by vaping them utterly dry, they last a long time with refilling. if you get over zealous and vape them till they dont vape, theyre going to go horribly wrong and burn. As soon as you see flavor diminish or vapor production drop ..and the battery isnt suspect (needs charging) its time to set that one aside for refilling and grab another. They also "sizzle"..you can kinda hear it..when that goes away, its gettin close to refill time..you'll see what i mean when you start using it.

As far as fluid goes: the going estimate is 10ml-carton of analogs as the measuring stick goes. IE, 1ml/pack, 10ml/carton so a 20ml bottle is supposed to last someone about as long as two cartons.

I am not so good with the tobacco flavors as I tend to avoid them, but my hubby loves the Hilton. Steve does have a Camel flavor so maybe start there. Out of curiosity, why stock up for a month? I would actually recommend getting a couple snack packs of various flavors (including some non-tobacco) and strengths. That way you can test out some variety and then place another order once you are sure you are happy with it. In terms of juice, I would recommend maybe getting some 5ml samples for the same reason.

You might be surprised at what makes the transition easier. My husband was pretty insistent that he needed tobacco as close to his marlboro reds as he could get. I was looking at a sight that sold Parliament light flavor for the same reason. I did figure I would want to try some sweet stuff so I ordered things like chocolate and vanilla. I ordered a few fruity flavors on a lark. Turns out the fruity flavors are what got me to put down the cigs - they are just so tasty that my smokes are no longer appealing. Hubby found that coffee was very impressive, but in the end, it realy was the cig flavored one that made him actually feel like he could put the cigs down, but interestingly he prefers the Hilton to the Marlboro.

All that to say, give several flavors a shot and make a bulk decision once you know what you love.

Welcome to the wonderful world of vaping and congrats on making a great choice with V4L and the vapor king!

thanks ! WOW What a great response time on helping me you guys are great!
I hope to get my order off today! I can't wait to get this and actually start!

Thanks Steve for responding so fast I can't wait to do business with you! Your fast reply and responses on here and glowing reports made me choose the VK after deciding I wanted the KR808D-1 version.

Andy Thanks! all of your answers help alot ( you should have seen my order box ) I want to try to make the most of this and actually save money ( so hubby will let me keep up with it :p ) The French pipe tobacco sounds like it might be nice:)

Kc0cmp thanks for help with the flavor of Hilton I'm def gonna give that a shot! And for being more decriptive on how many times you can refill a cartomizer that is a huge help Thanks !!!! And I am guessing but since reading the forums everyone is calling reg old cigarettes analog .... I suppose that is why *shrugs*I don't know but in this age I guess Guess its better then some things it could be called :p ( need to learn how to quote on here)

After smoking normal :lol umm Analog tobacco flavored cigarettes for over 24 years flavors tend to scare me ( Isn't that funny?) but after reading your reply PhenoixRising I am thinking why not ? I hate being shackled to them anyways and it won't hurt to try!
As for why a month? I am scared I will run out and have to go back :( I really want to quit smoking full time and once I do I never want to go back or have a lapse that might cause me too!
Once you mentioned the flaovrs though I got to thinking and my order box is huge!
Perhaps I am wrong in assuming you have to use the same flavors as what orginally comes with the Cartomizers to refill them?

Steve ships quick so you don't have to worry about running out! On the flavored carts verses juice thing. You don't have to use the same flavors, particularly if you drain them well before refilling. The difficulty I have with this is that there is a fine line between vaping most of the original liquid out and burning the cart. Once you burn the filler, any flavor you put in it will have a slight taste of that. So what I do, I refill with the same or compatible flavors. For instance, refilling pear with peach juice is great! Any two flavors that will go together work great (vanilla and peach, ry4 and french pipe, 555 and Hilton, and so on). The limits of these combos are strictly based on flavors that taste good together to you!

Cimyiss, I haven't had an analog for 13 days and counting, thanks to these folks, Steve and VK. Marlboro Lights were my brand, and I hated smoking anything else, when I first ordered I ordered a ton of the Mboro flavor, and a few of the other tobacco flavors just incase. I was super concerned about the flavor being close to Marlboro Lights and didn't think I could quit if it wasn't.

After almost two weeks, I could care less about the Mboro flavor, I didn't find it close, and I fell in love with grape and 555. I originally thought that vaping flavors would never be for me, but I'm really loving the choices. Try some different ones, I think you might find out that your need to taste exactly your smoke flavor isn't as much as it might seem.

Thanks again!!! Horray! I placed my order! Now I can hardly wait for it to get here I am very excited! So far I am going to try the Hilton, marlboro, and coffee, and If it is possible for Steve to mix up the ones that come with the kit then also cappuccino and Camel. I wanted to order more but I would rather wait and try these first and if the math is right I have about 2 cartons worth of Vaping to look forward too! After that I will def try some flavors!
Thanks again guys will post back once I get the kit!
Orginally my smoking quit date is Sept 30 but from what I have been hearing it is possible to do this way before then so I might be abel to move that date forward!

Just be careful; Coffee is a gateway flavor. It starts there, and pretty soon it's cappuccino, and then chocolate, and cherries - you see the progression right? Don't say I didn't warn ya.:p

On the mix up of carts, contact Steve directly but do it fast. Your order will be shipped before ya know it!

On the quit date...for me the key has been not to force it. I found myself smoking less and less and vaping more and more. I still "allow" myself a smoke when I want one. Enjoy vaping for what it is and don't put any pressure on yourself to replace the old habit. Just progress away from it naturally.

My two pence for what it's worth!

I'm probably going to catch some flack here but I'm on the long side of 63 years old and I've been smoking heavily and continuously since I was 15. I have smoked some analogs most people have never heard of. I have NOT completely quit analogs though the VK and various flavors have gotten me closer than anything else.

I don't see any PV as being a twin of the real thing but I am smoking around 300 fewer analogs a week than I was 6 months ago. That's a really big deal for me! The idea, (and this is one Steve would agree with) is to get off the real thing. It's easier to get off if using a PV is more interesting than using an analog and the flavors help to keep it interesting.

If you can enjoy a VK and it keeps you away from analogs it's all positive.

No flack here - I agree 100%. Take it at your own pace, celebrate the victories along the way, and above all - enjoy the ride!

OK-From my experience, Ill tell ya--Get a 510 Kit for first month-dont buy any extra parts unless its atty's because once u get ur taste back and get over the vapings not quite like smoking anymore i want more battery life phase, ull want a mod next. Sooooooooo, 510 kit, then ull want a mod so in that month using the 510-you will have time to shop for a mod---happy vaping!:)

Currently I am anolog smoker ( did I spell that right? Not used to it being called that!) I have been reading over these forums for days trying to make a decision and have finally settled on the VK being my first choice after all the wonderful reviews on this forum.:D

Thanks!

I have a 510 (Titan from TW) and I can't really complain. Hey, it got me off the cigs after all and I am enjoying it. But I have heard from many people that the vapor king and cartomizers are so much easier and more consistant that I felt I had to give it a try. The 510 is fine, but kind of hit or miss where throat hit is concerned. And fussing with the atty's and batteries is kind of a pain. Hoping to get my order tomorrow, and really expect to be very pleased. As I said, the 510 is fine, but I want a dependable, consistant and easy to take with me ecig without having to haul around a big heavy mod. That's just me, we are all different.

I think you will be very pleased with your order, and welcome. ;)

The reason I ordered the VK is because I did not want to do any modding and I did not want the muss and fuss of the other types. I am glad I researched everything and decided on the VK. I have not found the need to smoke an analog since I started vaping with it. I do agree the Hilton is very close to the tobacco flavor. However I am looking forward to trying more flavors. I have the red cow and it isn't bad, and either is the cola.

What really surprised me is that I thought I would be vaping strickly tobacco flavors - that is what I am trying to replace, no? But the funny thing is, I tried a few different flavors and wow! I will once in a while vape some camel (which of all of them is my favorite) but mostly I vape the coffee flavors... and Drews (nhaler) high voltage bananas and cream, or blackberries and cream... heaven!

I think many people are suprised at how much they like the other flavors! I myself never dreamed I would enjoy them! Vaping ROCKS! :D

Tomorrow at this time, I hope to be puffing away on my new Vapor King! Whoo Hoo!

JenJen... I almost forgot Steve threw in a pear flavored cart (thanks Steve) with my initial order. Smelling it I can barely smell it, but I tried it and it does taste just like a pear..lol. I like it and I have more flavors on the way. Hopefully will be here tomorrow. I really do like the Hilton, but I know I will be liking many of the other flavors especially as my taste buds get back to normal and my sense of smell, and they are already improving. I can already breathe easier and I noticed last night when I went to bed I was able to breathe much easier through my nose...simply amazing. I am really looking forward to hear what you think of the VK..in comparison to your 510 :D

I can barely wait for it to get here! I could have used it today at the hopstial when I dropped glass on my foot! And then to top it off they wanted to do stiches!!!! NO WAY! maybe if I would have had a cigarette or my VK I may have been braver LOL but instead I begged them to just glue it! Then I had to walk down the road off the hospital property just to have a smoke :( I did get 5 days off work though so its not all bad :p

And Steve in response to your email I sent you one as I couldn't modify the order? anyways everything is just fine and I am sure I will be happy with anything you do :)
thanks for the wonderful personal attention and even letting me know about the new cases and colors! I prob buy one asap on the next order:)

Leeshor think its awsome you cut back so far! And thank you for the advice I will try to be patient LOL but knowing I dont have to give up anyhthing but the bad stuff has motivated me!

Crash test Jeep yeah I am a prepacked ready to go person Part of the reason I choose the VK is that I get to determine how much work I want to do and can alternate between screwing on a new cart or going all out and trying to do more when I have time or Feel like it. But like U say perhaps I will want more and more once I try it :)

LOL Gazoo thats how I feel.

JenJen maybe once I get my tastebuds back and try some flavors a whole new world will open up.
Only haveing ever tried peach and clove cigarettes with the back flavor of burning Smoke I can't really have any idea what these flavored carts will taste like:( I wish I did because it does sound wonderful:) I will just have to wait and see... perhaps next month I will be advocating banana raspberry pineapple or something LOL

Oh for the places that wont let you smoke the VK do they have a smell from cart flavors or anything ? say I should sneak in the bathroom at some future point?

Thanks You guys!

So far I am LOVING it! I am charging the batteries, but the passthrough (which I ran home from work at lunch to try!) was OUTSTANDING! I will give a more complete review after I have a chance to play around a bit, but so far it is 100% easier. No muss no fuss! And if I want to refill the carts to stretch them out, that is just as easy as with the 510 so no worries! yes, I am a happy camper! ;)
