So I really want to try out a rebuildible atomizer. I've been looking around for different deals and came up with this. $8.52 Cobra Electronic Cigarette Round Mouth Atomizer - w/ hex wrenth at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping From the info I've gathered its good for what you pay and I don't want to waste to much money if I don't like rebuilding. I've searched but haven't came up with instructions on how to rebuild this kind of atomizer. I've seen youtube vids on rebuilds but none of the atomizers look like this one. Any help would be great.

You are so right Hello World, almost everyone I know has a AGA-T2 tank, the only problem I have with them is mine is a little to Airy I dont know why? Maybe its a newbie mistake but still a little fustrating :(
Greetz Eric ...

You can stuff some mesh into your drip tip to restrict airflow even further.

It looks like a 'mini DID clone'... Here's a vid (Mini Did Clone - YouTube) that might be of some help to you... And, thanks for the link, I just might pick one up myself... ;)

I have the one you linked from FastTech, it's not a cobra clone, it's a griffin clone. They're similar, but different. It's a really cute little RBA though. And it came pre-wicked and everything! Which is pretty awesome. It works really well, but I prefer my AGA-T. The only thing about the griffin clone is that it doesn't leak, ever.

A buddy of mine just got one of these and the bottom insulator is too soft causing the center pin to be kind of free-floating - it will push up through the insulator whenever you attach it to a mod and eventually lose contact. I need to find a small, stiff o-ring to put in there. It would have been great if they would have used delrin instead of soft silicone for the insulators.

There are some very cheap RBA's out there. IMHO some very bad one's and some acceptable.
There are also the other extreme. The very expensive RBA's (ZAP, Cobra etc), which are great, again IMHO, do not justify the price differential.
I would recommend trying AGA T2 or the RSST. Both are great value for money and both perform really good for $25 - $35 range. In fact - I find it hard to believe the price when you look at the quality and more importantly, the performance.

In short - do not base you decision on Genesis Style devices by just trying the lesser quality RBA's. Once you have experienced a great setup on a AGA T2 or RSST and the vape that they provide, you will find it hard to go back to any previous e-cig style that you used before.

My take is this. Smaller Genesis style RBAs are fine, but you will not get the same vapor production since this is going to be based on wicking action. The smaller the wick, the less the wicking action. It will also be it bit more difficult to coil since it is a smaller device. But you will still get the taste. Also, I don't like non-glass tanks. I don't really want to be limited in the kinds of juice I can vape.
