So I had to do a bit of shopping on Amazon to get the goodies. Cheap and easy. Shopping online is fun anyhow. I was an electronics tech in the Navy, so I know what OHMs are, but the rest is pretty rudimentary stuff. The hardest part for me was pre-threating the piercing needle with cotton. I just stepped down the diameter, spun it in and it was easy. I'm also now "primed" for my next rebuild. As luck would have it, the hole lined up perfectly with the coil without fuss. Hitting this is DIFFERENT. I put in a fresh bottle (my first) of Boba's Bounty and the taste is amazing. The experience is different. VERY smooth hits! I hit 1.9OHMs with 9 winds on a 14gauge needle (as SXD prescribed). If you're not doing this yet, you should. As always, props to REO and thank you SXD! BTW, I agree that making a video of this would have been challenging, but I can do if anybody wants to see it.
