do about 9 wraps of of that 30 ga around a 5/32 drill bit , wick with cotton puff balls or my favorite peaches and creme yarn from walmart (boil for 15 minutes before use).

Drill your air hole out as well. if you just want lung hits and big clouds use the 5/32 drill bite and that will do the job. if not just drill in little steps until you find what you like.

this set up will put out about the same clouds as a .7ohm micro coil on a mech mod.

No, you can get that above sub ohm. I made a few coils at 1.2, then added another 1.2 coil to the other posts and it dropped to .6 and thats my sweet spot. Sure those fancy coils look cool and perform well. But I maintain that I can get very similar performance from dual micro coils.

I do not mean to pass this off as fact by any means, but IMO and my experience I do not get the same flavor/throat hit/vapor production from anything that is not sub-ohm. I have had my experience with first rebuilding my protank 2, then rba's in the 1. to 2. range, and finally had the best experience with everything I wanted .2 to .7 depending on what I am building on and with. And have been doing so for the last 9+ months and have not looked back.

Thanks for all the posts guys! I'm thinking my next step is to start messing with a mechanical to get this sub ohm going. Iv seen some great looking builds with dual coils running around .3-.8 ohms. Any recommendations for a mechanical to try? Iv only messed with regulated mods so far, I have my lavatube 2.5 and an itaste vv. loving the cotton though guys, super clean taste and very easy to just change out a wick.

Depends if you want to go the clone route or authentic route. IMO clones can hit just as hard as the real deal, and are alot cheaper, but you are not supporting the original creator and their company. Dunno that is your moral standpoint to face. That being said some great mechs out there would have to be nemesis, stingray, chi u, king, caravella, vanilla, manhattan and I could add to the list. Find what you like. I find very small differences in between them all with performance generally. As for your igo, you want to get something better or upgrade it itself?

Thanks for all the suggestions. As for the igo, I'd like something to try different all together. May go the clone route as iv seen authentics are crazy expensive.

I personally own both clones, as well as originals for both mods and atty's and have yet to see a major difference as far as performance. If that's the case and you want clone, I personally love the tohb. They have a clone on fasttek that my buddy picked up, other than the serial number and price tag, I can't tell it apart from my authentic. It hits like a train, large holes for larger gauge kanthal, and has a beast look, is 22 mm so it will be flush with most mods.
