First RDA - Silica wick help?

I've been vaping for about 5 months on an itaste vv with a kanger protank mini 2. Just got an A7 rda today and wound up a 1.4 ohm microcoil-type-thing around the stock silica wick that came with it. So far I love it.

I'd like to use cotton but so far I've had some adverse effects (could've been a bad batch I bought). I wanna try some sterile cotton but I'd like to have some silica wick on hand just in case the cotton doesn't work for me again.

So, whats a good kind of silica wick to buy and whats the best way to use one in this type of rda?? The way this one was packaged was 4 strands of thin silica (1 mm?) with long tails sticking down into the "reservoir".

I'm new to wrapping too, but I've been told that 1.5mm wick is the most flexible. You can find it and other sizes on Amazon in all kinds of lengths. I've found the figure eight config with 1.5mm silica to be the easiest to wrap. Youtube has tons of vids out there for help.

If you're willing to give cotton another shot, check out Koh Gen Do cotton pads. They are super easy to work with (since the pads have the cotton strands in uniform straight lines), and the cotton is not treated with any chemicals. It's just pure 100% natural cotton.

Silica Wick- 20' .

This is where I get my silica from when I use silica wick and it is good tightly wound/twisted silica does not come apart and fray,and no dust.

Hmm, this looks like a good to try. I'll have to keep this in mind when I move from silica to cotton. I want to try and work on my coil wrapping skills first.
