Hey everyone, I have bought a rebuildable atomizer. My first one. I am having problems with the flavor of it and the taste. It's also giving me a nasty headache lol. I have previously owned protanks always. I am getting little vapor and a weird nasty taste from this rebuildable atty, but it's not a burning taste. I cannot figure out why this is happening. I was thinking maybe I have to make it dual coil, but I would much rather use a single. Heres my set up. Thank you in advanced. vamo.jpg
I have tried cotton, this one in the pic is silica. I tried making the coils more spread apart, looser, close together. All the same result.

What about airflow? You want your air hole lined right up on the coil. You want one air hole. Maybe just a little more tails on your wick, to pick juice up.

I dont think i can really manipulate the airflow. The holes on the chamber are lined up with the one on the bottom. There is a hole right next to the coil.

is your wick dropping down into the tank a little ways? It's a little hard to tell from the picture if it stops short of the hole to the tank or if it's just turned translucent.

if you drip a few drops of your juice on the wick directly, put on your cap and take a vape, does it still taste bad, or does it taste good for a couple toots?

I'm still pretty new to RDAs myself, but I'm thinking your wick looks a bit dry at the tips, and awfully short - have you considered making the wick a bit longer, with maybe 8-10 mm sticking out from each end of the coil to sop up juice from the base platform? My best guess is that the nasty taste you're getting is a dry hit from your wick not being thoroughly saturated...
