I'm about to pull the trigger on my first rebuildable tank. I'm tired of replacing plug-in heads every third day because my juice has gunked up the coil.

I'm tossing between a Kayfun v4 clone (Tobeco or EhPro, haven't decided yet) or a Kanger Subtank. Both look like good products, and have rave reviews "out there."

I do have a slight bias against Kanger in general because their Protanks had such wild popularity and I thought they were crap, so I have a slight grudge.

I have no interest in "cloud chasing", but I do want more vapor than I'm getting from my Aspire Nautilus'. I also know that part of that is limited by the output of my VTR - something else I'll be replacing with an updated box mod. That's a different contemplation for a later thread.

Anyways, was looking for feedback on Kayfun vs Subtank. Thanks

Congrats on coming into the world of rebuildables..... Its amazing and you wont regret it.

You say you won;t cloud chase now, but I assure you you will eventually want to dabble with a RDA Deck... and end up with a .8 or .5 ohm coil and you'll love it.....

I just like lots of thick clouds, not necessarily trying to chase the BIG CLOUDS like people using .2 and .15 ohm builds (Thats insane in my eyes)

Background info: I'm recovering from substance addictions, and vaping is to me what methadone is to someone kicking smack. I intend to someday cease vaping, also. I've put a pretty significant bit of effort into not making this into a hobby, which means I completely understand all the people with 20+ mods and double that for RDAs, etc :).

I really intend this to be an economical choice, both financially and time-saving. I should be able to build my deck once, then after I'm happy with the build, only replace the cotton (this is my theory).

I use an Eleaf Lemo. Picked it up for about 35 bucks and so far its been working like a dream. I was stuck between the Lemo and the Kayfun but obviously i went with the Lemo. I cant compare it to the Kayfun but i highly recommend looking into one. I ordered one from Elev8Vape and it got here in a couple of days and didnt break the bank.
