Well, broke down and finally got a Reo. Had to buy from fellow ECF member as the Reo site seems to always be out of stock. That was actually the main reason I HAD to get one. Pretty cool unit.
All I have to do now is get the perfect hardware blend and I am set.
One thing I have noticed is that when I slap in a 5volt batt the carto developes a "hard" draw fairly quickly. I have never experienced this before. I am using 2ohm cartos...Boge I think. I have some 1.5ohm cartos coming soon, for 3.7v usage.
Hopefully this will solve the issue.

Congratz alekos :)

I so want to try out 5V vaping, but then I would have to change things like the carto's and such if I did. In a way I'm also quite comfortable at 3.7V with a LR boge, so why change what ain't broken...

Anyway, welcome to reoville! I think every reonaut should have a grand and a mini. They're both awesome in their own way so if you ever get a chance to pick up a mini they come highly recommended. Great little pocket friendly pv's.

Black on black.
Never have been able to get the hang of attys, plus cartos are "Idiot" proof.
This whole bottom feeding concept seems pretty cool.
I normally use 2.5ohm for up to 6v, and 5ohm for 7.4v.
Daily use is a Darwin, Rough Stack maxi, and a slew of homemade double barrels.
I had to put them up for a while until I can check my wiring, I had a double 5v self destruct.

I'm a black on black fan as well, have both mini and grand all black and an ebony miniwoodvil. They blend in with the rest of my equipment.

You might want to give attys another try with a bottom feeder, it's easier than dripping and squonking becomes rather automatic. I like them because they are "burnt polyfil" proof.

How often how much juice are you squonking into your carto? If you over do it, the filler material will swell and restrict the airflow through the center tube.

The filler at the top of the carto doesn't need to appear to be visually soaked all of the time. A gentle squonk while drawing gently will get the juice to the coil and prevent the filler from scorching.

Thanks all, the cisco 1.5 and 1.8 attys are doing the trick. I might have just figured out the blind squonking trick.
What is the turn-around time to get one of these bad boys repaired? I have found some damage where the button touches the battery. I guess that is what happens when you buy used. Better buy a mini when I can afford to.
