First Reo, Grand or Mini? A few questions.

The Grand is taller but isn't really much wider. Here's a picture I took this morning with a mini to the right of the Grand in the center. I got used to the size of the mini first so it takes a little getting used to the grasp in the Grand. To do it over, I may have done it differently.

The mini will certainly get the job done for you. I don't see any difference in flavor. Battery life on an 18490 should last you most of the day but probably not all day if you have good batteries so always carry a spare. I tend to leave for work with three mods and have a battery charger in my office. I do that more for flavor change though.

You can't go wrong with either.

Just wondering. When you said you would have done it differently, do you mean you would get the grand over the mini? I just got a grand and I have extremely small hands! I still haven't figured out how to hold on to it! I know I will get a comfortable hold on it with some practice!

Yes, I would have gotten the grand first I think. I got very used to my mini's and the grand feels large in my hand. I fire the mini with my thumb and feel like I have a good grasp but with the grand, I fire with my index finger to feel like I have a good hold it. Little finger under, two wrapped around and fire with index. It's not difficult, just different.

I love my two mini's and will always use them. But I like the battery life on the grand so I like it too. Here's the way I hold it. Most Reonauts will probably think I'm doing it the hard way but it works for me.

I love your pictures of the ISticks, grand and mini! I have 4 ISticks and they fit my little hands perfectly! It helps to have a visual on how you hold it! I have to have my thumb on the fire button, two fingers low on the side and two holding up the bottom of the REO! Gonna try it your way next. But this does make up my mind that my next REO has to be a mini or the smaller mini that Rob is talking about bringing back! OMG, did I just say my NEXT REO????

Chilicat...luv that name.... when i first started with Reos i got a grand, had a helluvatime holding it, got a VV Grand cuz of the side button, so on and so forth. Not too long ago I got a couple more grands and realized that holding it with the two middle fingers on one side, pinky finger on the bottom, thumb on the opposite side and index finger on the button is very very comfortable! And after just a short time you'll find that it seems to " shrink" in size and then you just hold onto it any ole way!
