Im going to get a reo for work but have a couple questions...

I want something very pocket friendly but also dont want to sacrifice battery duration. I usually carry a provari in 18500 or 18650 mode in my pocket allday and it constantly flops around in my pocket while walking at work so im always having to readjust it because it ends up sitting sideways and feels like im going to break the atty off of it. Would a reo grand be pocket friendly or is it too large?

Im not sure of what to get, the reo grand for battery duration... or the reo mini 2.1 that uses 18500 for its size.

Can anyone recommend me a reo who carries one in their pocket daily?

Also whats the difference between the mini 2.0 and 2.1?
I see some 2.0 blems on the site

My Grand is right at home in my front right pocket. The only other one I've held is my Mini (original Mini, takes 14500's) so I can't offer an opinion on comparison between the Grand and the 2.1

The Mini 2.1 catch cup will accomodate a Reomizer 2.0. The Mini 2.0 catch cup will not.

If battery life is a priority I'd say get the Grand, it's really not as big as it looks in pics. Also, the Mini 2.0 and 2.1 are the same width and depth as the Grand, just a little shorter, so bulk wise they are gonna be similar in your pocket. Not that any of them are bulky at all, just pointing out they are no slimmer than the Grand, just shorter.

I carry a grand in my shirt pocket all day, it's only about the size of a pack of cigarettes (look at the last post in this thread). My "issue" with the mini's isn't the battery, it's the 3ml of juice, I feel more "secure" carrying 6ml.

I *think* the only difference between the mini 2.0 and 2.1 is a larger juice "cup" to allow more choices in RBAs that you can use, and more rounded corners. (I strongly recommend the RM2 rba, that is sold on the same site, it's a beast for function and VERY easy to rebuild when needed)

Since I only have the grand and original mini, wait for someone that has both to chime in and confirm my thoughts or humiliate me :)

ETA: Dang, Stats, you're too quick for me :)

Is the era a nice atty?

I have a chance to get a grand with era from a member.
I have 3 Reos, all of them have ERAs on them. Yes, they are very nice attys. If you don't end up liking it you could always toss the ERA on the classifieds and get enough back to buy a reomizer.

Buy the Grand and pass on the ERA. With the same $40 for the ERA, you can get an RM2 ($43) and it's better. I've had both and totally prefer the RM2 (Reomizer 2.0 on the Reos Mods site.)

EDIT: Oops. I was assuming you were talking about Quigsworth's deal on Classifieds. If that's not what you were talking about, sorry. He has an ERA for $40. The Reomizer 2.0 for $43 is better.

Lmao, thanks guys.

After experiencing a micro coil in an igo-l recentlly for the first time... I remembered the reo and wondered why I never tried one before :-o

Yep, after missing out on quigsworths polished/brushed grand in the classies.... he offered to sell me his other identical grand (nice guy! Thank you)

The flat bottom of the reo should stay seated in the bottom of my pocket better and wont have a juice bottle flopping around in there either now, woot!

I might be selling off some tube mods in the future.

Anyway... I have some 28g kanthal comming in the mail and want to build a micro for the era using a 1/16th syringe, any suggestions on how many wraps and ohmage to aim for for a good hot vape?

Hot vape - about 6 wraps. On 1/16" that should be around 1 ish ohms?

Awesome.... this will give me a good starting point to play around with... if I stay at or above 1 ohm... will standard imr bats be able to handle it?

Bro, I won't put anything other than AW IMRs in my REOs. They are the recommended batteries for REOs :)

Got my first reo grand today!

Love the size! Will be so much better to carry at work than my provari.

Got it from an ecf member,

Came with an ERA and extras.

Question.... it came with an oring about the size of the catchcup bore, does the oring need to go in the catchcup under the era?

Ive read that some early era's had too long of a 510 connection and needed an oring under it, but this one has the standard size 510, its same length as all my others.
