Welcome Metal!!!! Great to see another porcher become a squonker!! Really glad you're liking that Rm4. Squonkin is so much better than drippin!! As you've seen, you'll find all the help you need with any questions or issues you might have. Super_x_Drifter on youtube has a lot of great Reo videos too. Dunno if I told you, did you cut the inverted v in the bottom of the feed tube to keep it from suctioning to the bottle? The black wrinkle is a classic!! Now get ready for the release of the resins! lol

Thanks Deb you've been a big help to me and I appreciate it. Cut the tube first thing before putting the bottle on.

Nice lookin setup :). Congrats and welcome :)

You've been a big help too. I've watched your vids and learned a lot from them.

Welcome and congrats

Thanks for making these.

Congrats on your first reo!!

Now how come im the first to ask, what reo you thinking for your 2nd ;) ??

Maybe one of the copper vein Grands.

Make sure to visit the REOVILLE tavern. 1/2 priced drafts on Tuesdays.

I'll let you have one for me. Quit drinking 10 years ago. ;)

Welcome

Lately I've be revisiting my Atomic again. Have it on a LP Grand Silver Vein with the new adj 510 upgrade (that I took the Nuppin' off of and put on one of my new Woodvil's). To have the dual intakes on It side to side even with the adj 510 nearly all the way in it sits on the LP G about the same as your RM4, a little high. A larger o-ring fills the gap. Good enough for what it's used for... to try out new liquids with.

I love the Atomic. I have 2 of them running on a couple metal Grands. It's a 'dinosaur', compared to some of the newer attys, but still a great flavor chucker.

It has never been a favorite of mine, never will be, but kudos to those that like and use them daily.

What are your top two or three favorite attys? I am thinking of getting an RM8 next but I'm right pleased with the RM4. It's a pain trying to get two pieces of 26ga wire through that tiny center post hole though. The other attys I've used are a couple of Tugboats, a doge and a Plume Veil clone I'm not real fond of.

Hey sweetie, this might get some notice if some folks are still subbed to it, but maybe starting a new one would be better with the leaking in the subject line. There are a couple threads in the forum about leaking. Since you said it's inside the mod not on top at all, maybe check this video.
This is about how to replace the positive contact. You likely won't need to replace it, but it can show you how to tighten it. I've heard folks say that if it's not tight enough, you can get a leak inside. But really I would search for those other threads, or just start a new one and describe exactly what you see and don't see etc to help folks dx the problem. The more info you give the fewer questions they have to ask :) They'll get ya fixed right up!

That looks pretty easy. Thanks for posting it. Took the REO out today running errands and it's great. I'm learning lots looking over the old threads. Thanks again, pal. :thumb:

Just personal preference, but I prefer the small footprint atty's for FVT. My favorites are Chalice, 2013 Cyclone, Hornet, IGO-S, RM3, and for mid size nothing can replace any of my Nuppin' atty's. Have a few RM2's for backup duty that are just fine for single coil builds too. And other's I don't use at all. Not my thing is any of the several 22mm atty's I've bought, for various reasons. I've tinkered with some of them, not bothered at all with others, traded one away.

At one time I wanted two or three authentic Derringers. But after months and the issues with Praxis I took them back off my list. Now that Rob offers the RM8 I might reconsider one or two for limited use on my new Mech Woodvil's (or full service if I ever do build the Peko's I bought the parts for months ago). Time will tell I guess since I have enough of my favorite atty's to run on all my Reos. :)
