First successful sub ohm coil!

Pumped to announce my first successful sub ohm coil.

It's at .4ohm, 24g kanthal, dual, 3/32 bored out air holes on an authentic patriot and caravella clone. Using Suicide Bunny - Mothers Milk (strawberries&cream)

DELISHHHHHHHHHHHHH and hits like a freight train.


Edit: Going to be trying my first dual dragon nano build tomorrow. Have heard about then and have seen them for some time, but have not attempted one of my own. Wish me luck. This one won't be lower than .9-1.1ohm (hopefully in that area)

Just be sure you're using a battery that can handle that build! I stick to the VTC5s.

Nice, i'm getting a helios rda clone soon. I'm wanting to try and build a sub-ohm coil myself. How is that caravella clone? I'm looking for a good but affordable mechanical mod but there are so many to choose from.

Welcome to the Sub Ohm Zone. Just finished building the Magma with a dual vertical tri-twisted 28 coil, came in at 0.32 ohms. Stellar vape.

just a word of advice you might want to use smaller wire if you are shooting for around 1 ohm. you prob wont get there with 24g. try some 28g or 30g

Nice, i'm getting a helios RDA clone soon. I'm wanting to try and build a sub-ohm coil myself. How is that caravella clone? I'm looking for a good but affordable mechanical mod but there are so many to choose from.

i have the helious clone great little dripper until one of the neg post fell off. also if your looking for a cheap decent mech mod go with the cronus. low voltage drop and the helious was made for it

Runnin' it on the vtc4 thanks for the heads up. Would my Panasonic 18650 3400mah ncr18650B run it fine? It should, yea? I'm a little uneducated on the actual numbers. All I know is which battery to put in for what build. Just don't know why, haha. So I'm vaping safe, just need a little more info.

It's ok but I honestly don't recommend it. It looks great and is flush with all my attys but the button SUCKS. Always having to fiddle with it to make sure it won't lock/unlock or the inside won't start unscrewing. I like my k100 more but don't like the way the drippers look on it.

The VTC4's are fine, have the same continuous amp rating as the 5's but have a higher pulse amp rating. The 5's only have 400 mah's than the 4's. Um, and no, you don't want to use the Panies with a mech, not near enough amp's available.

My first one was nice too. Just set my mesh on fire.
Since then, dunno why, I use 1.4 to 1.6 Ohm coils...

Nice! I use a coil jig from Vaporkings out OK. I find it allows me to make a tight coil. You can pick up a cheap coil jig too at hobby lobby, it's called a artistic wire coiling gizmo.
