Don't know if this helps but this is my Vamo in short mode:

(Changed to a better pic)
A 3.5ml vivi does make it a bigger feel overall than if I had a T3 or something smaller attached. Still stealthy enough for me though. I drive and vape with it ok, and have taken it to work along with an X2.

That's the way the Vamo looks in my hands in 18650 mode. Lol

18350 is way too small for my hands.

looks cheap to me. still glad I have a SS Vamo on the way and i paid $10 less than this is going for. I guess for someone who wants colors this is good, but TBH, i think the Vamo at $40 is a better deal (in stainless) than this flimsy anodized aluminum. I know for sure that when you drop this, it won't hold up like something of brass or better yet, stainless steel.

I don't know that I'd be so quick to call anodized aluminum flimsy... I have a Lavatube V2 that's anodized aluminum and it is a freakin beast. I wouldn't hesitate for a moment to let it get run over by a tank...

If this thing is real thin aluminum though, yeah that's crappy... But some of these aluminum devices like the Lavatube that are milled from billett aluminum, they're tough.

I wouldn't call anodized aluminum flimsy, I just don't like it aesthetically.

I work in the aviation field and have worked with lots of aluminum and have dealt with plenty on anodized parts. It really depends more about the thickness of the material and what grade it is.

It would be awesome if it used the aircraft aluminum like on the Reo grand.

damn I'm looking into buying one of the cheap VW devices but new ones come out like every week or so :S
I wish pbusardo would do a shoutout like he did with the clearos :)
he hasnt released the review yet another few days and we will know but he seems excited with it just reading his initial writeup.

a clearo shoot out is easy it works well or it doesnt. something like APV's there is no way to pick a good one when a lot of them work well and the choice comes to personal preference.

If I had to guess I would say right now the VAMO would be the top pick, with the others loosing points for the single buh-in menus.

That would be my biggest turn off with this device... One button... Don't like it on the Provari, don't like it on the ZMax. Maybe they saved some room on the PCB by not having +/- buttons to easily navigate through the menus and settings... Who knows... There are devices where I can click a button one time, and one time only to see my coil resistance... Or I can make like 7 clicks on one button and it takes 3-4 times as long... Keep it simple, 3 buttons is a winning formula IMO
