I have all three actually. Well, let me be sure. Pure Sucralose, I have a bottle from Sweet Vapes. Is that the same thing you are talking about? http://www.sweet-vapes.com/shop/diy..._color_plus.tpl&product_id=322&category_id=28

Is either one better than the other? After I test my nicotine base, could I test out the sweeteners in that test base?

One burning question. If you mix a 5mL recipe and you test say 2-3 drop and find it needs some adjusting of one thing or another, doesn't that make you're entire mix off if you now add 1-2 drops more of flavoring? Then you do it again a couple more times. I would think now the whole mix is WAY off from the original recipe. I hope this makes sense.

That Sucralose should be fine.

One thing to remember about Sucralose is that you don't need to "Steep" your mix after you add it. Just add a few drops, shake and then vape. If it is not Sweet enough, add a few more.

Be sure to write down what you add/do. EVERY TIME YOU MAKE A CHANGE.
---

Doing 5ml batches is kinda a PITA. It's hard to measure those small amounts of Flavorings. And by the time you Fill Up a Clearo or a Carto, Most of the 5ml batch is gone.

DIY is Dirt Cheap. Do yourself a favor and Mix at least 15 or 30ml at a time. A 30ml batch can be tweaked by adding a drop if This or a drop of That. Hard to do that with a 5ml Batch.

BTW - What does 30ml of Flavored DIY cost? 75 Cents or so?

Google some DIY recipes, it will save you some time trying to guess on amunt to use. Steeping is a myth and a fad. The only thing steeping will do is let some alcohol and some perfume escape into the air, it has no effect on taste. If steeping were required for taste, then the entire candy and baking industry would have to wait weeks to make candy and baking goods and we all know that isn't true.

Good points. Ok, I will give it a try again tonight in a larger batch. Even though it's cheap I would love to get the flavor just close to something and get rid of that peppery taste. Thanks again for the help.

You will, it just takes some Experimenting.

Test you Nicotine Base 1st though. I have seen many people battle with Flavorings / Sweeteners only to find that their Base was the Problem.

:)

I don't know about that.

My Spaghetti sauces taste better the next day verses the day I make it. Same with Wine. Or Scotch. Or many things.

It also is the Same for my DIY e-Liquid mixes.

But of course, Taste is Subjective. And YMMV.

Steeping is not a myth ... the Apple Pie I mixed on Friday tastes even better today ... been vaping it all day.

Strange, I made a small batch over the weekend, and tried it the next day. It wasn't bad. I don't know how to describe it, but it tastes powdery. Now a few days later I'm trying it again, the same batch, and there seems to me a lot less flavor. Maybe it wasn't mixed well the first time, or maybe I've just been vaping it long enough that the flavor doesn't "seem" as intense. Either way I'm going to mix up a batch of mango. Any suggestions on a sweetener, sucralose maybe?

I think Sucralose is a Great Sweetener for Fruit Mixes.

Remember, you don't need to wait after you add it. Just Add, Shake and Go. If it isn't sweet enough, just Add Some More.

BTW - I have used FlavorArt (FA) Mango and never thought it was a very strong flavoring. I needed to add more that most Fruit Flavor to reach the same Intensity.

The Flavor was a Good Mango for the taste I was looking for. Just not an Overly Strong Flavor.

Of course, different Manufactures vary from flavor to flavor.

I have another question. Since I have a bottle of each 100%VG and 100% PG both 60mg Nic, I want to mix the 2 to make 67%PG - 33%VG so I have a base I can use without drawing from 3 bottles. How would I calculate mixing the two?

I thought at first just mix half and half, then use that as my base, but then I'm at the same place as before, needing to draw from 3 bottles.
