ok so i just tried to make one flavor because people recommend to make one flavor so it simple and easier, so i was using the eliquid recipe manager and i am using 26mg 50/50 vg/pg mix. trying to make a 5ml bottle it says i needed 2.31ml of nicotine does that sound right? i just put like 15 drops instead of 44 drops, but there a setting where you can change how many drops equals per ml should i change it or is this calculator crap. Its giving me an head changer

oh ok sounds great but i was wondering if you only make big batch you wouldn't need to use a beaker or graduated cylinder because i get bored easily of flavors so i just put everything in the bottle. Joe from Flavorz by Joe did the same thing the only thing he use the beaker for was for holding vg pg and nicotine. oh yeah i was wondering do you guys get the problem that the number on the syringe peeling off?

When I make big batches I use 25 ml syringes with a 14 gauge needle. It's so much faster and easier than beakers and graduated cylinders. Also cleaner.

First off, I would never add nic base by counting drops. All droppers have different sized tips, which will affect the size of the drops. That is why the calculator has a drop per ml adjustment. Viscosity also will affect the size of the drop. I use a syringe only, and nothing else!

The 2.3 ml nic depends on what strength nic base you're using. Unless we know the strength of your base, that question can't be answered.

You said your aiming at 12 mg. You're base is 26mg. That is roughly 1/2 the strength of the base. That means that the base needs to be cut with pg or vg or both by roughly 1/2. If you're aiming for a 5ml batch, then it makes perfect sense that the calculator is telling you to use 2.3 ml of base because that is roughly 1/2 of the 5 ml end product.

ie if you had a 24mg/ml base and wanted to cut it to 12 mg/ml to a 5ml end product, then the calculator would tell you to use exactly 2.5 ml of base. the other 2.5 ml will come from flavor and either pg or vg depending on what you want in the end.
