Well, kinda.
Today I was cleaning my Maxi Roughstack and took the switch out. This is the second time I have taken the switch out in the couple of months I have had it. I wanted to make sure no liquid got through the cracks. (I was one of the first recipients of the 'new' switch for those of you Maxi owners, not the spring/straw thing they used to use.)
I unscrewed the switch and where the wire connects to the board the metal broke off. (I applied very little pressure when trying to disconnect the wire....).
"Oh nooooooooo!". PANIC!
So, I ran up to the hardware store and grabbed a soldering iron and some lead free solder. My first time ever using a soldering iron and I attached a wire straight from the board to the 510 connection.
Put it back together and HITS LIKE A CHAMP!
I'm so happy
Time to put together my own box mod now!
