first time posting and hoping others will do the same

I have been lurking around here since last spring and have been smoke free since June 2012 (^ 5 to me...lol)
The reason I felt the need to FINALLY register is because I just wanted to let all you great folks know that even though I have not joined til now, it didn't stop me from signing the petition.
So, I'm hoping that other lurkers out there will GO SIGN THAT PETITION!!!!!!!!
And I would also like to thank each and every one of you for helping me quit smoking.
You know who you are!!!
If I tried to list you all, I would get typers cramp...lol
There are/were so many of you that were helpful and just wanted to let you know that.

Quitting was an accident actually.
I went into my regular smoke shop to get my weekly batch of smokes (5 packs) and I noticed ecigs in the case and bought one out of curiosity.
It didn't taste so good, so I sat down and did some research on the internet and that is when I found this place.
Rather than stop with the yuckie one..lol...I ordered a starter kit from Volt.
And you know what else I did?
I continued to smoke.
I never once told myself I wasn't going to smoke anymore. I kept my pack right next to me, but found myself reaching for the ecig instead of the cigarettes.
After about 3 weeks, the cigarettes started to taste nasty.
Maybe that had something to do with my success...
I didn't set out to quit, it just happened!
