It's been almost two years since I was a full-time smoker and I was running 23:00 5k's, which works out to three 8:00 miles roughly.

I started running again for the first time this Saturday and I was never short of breath, just sore and out of practice. I have a feeling its not going to take too long to get to where I was.

I hate to bring e cig politics into this, but I still cant believe the FDA is still being so hard on vaping. After running a 5k with no practice and being able to breathe and feel better during the whole thing than when I had practiced as a smoker 5 times a week for 2 months straight, it doesnt make sense to me :(

That's one of the first things I noticed. I don't run for any other reason then I have to, but when I do I don't get out of breath. Going up hills too unless I have while going up I don't breath heavy any more.

Don't worry the FDA will be cool with e-cig once the right people are making enough money off of them.
