Not quite a month since I started vaping but all my juice has so far been 30/70 PG/VG.
I just tried my first bottle of 50/50 and all I can say is WOW. I am loving the flavour I am getting. I can't believe a 20% difference can taste so much better. Now I am wondering if I should try higher PG. hmmmmmmmmmmm.

Thoughts?

Kinda depends on what you want. Flavor is higher PG, clouds is higher VG. For me, I prefer the flavor so I do 70/30 or 60/40 depending on what the vendor has.

Sometimes 50/50 is all that is available. Sometimes it is not listed exactly, but I like it.

I am not a cloud chaser and never will be. I just want this newfound great taste I am enjoying. I am going to try 70/30 and see how I like that. Funny the bottles I am looking at right now all say recommended is 70/30 so I shall order and tootle pull away :)

Thank you for your feedback

This is very much Manufacturer based....... Well, and DIY Skill level.
Many Mixers have created excellent Flavors in higher PG bases but Not Modified those Recipes to maintain flavor in High VG(flavor Muting) consistencies.
Other Mixers Only work with High VG(newer mixers) and if ordering a high PG mix, one might get a Very Nasty result.

Sadly, simply adding/subtracting Total flavoring doesn't always work. Some flavor components react differently in how they project through different Bases.

Boosting a Sweetener in High VG can cause a syrupy reaction while reducing Sweetener in a High PG Base can produce a bitterness in some flavorings.

Delicate balances:oops:

A lot of us vapers are more sensitive to PG than others... unfortunately there's really no way to find that out other than vaping different ratios. PG definitely carries flavor better than VG but for some can cause irritation and some claim to have an actual allergy. There are tons of pro's and con's to different PG levels- PG is thinner so higher ratios of PG wick better, higher levels of PG causes more of a throat hit, etc... the max VG stuff is much more focused on the cloud chasers than the flavor chasers. You'll notice that those more expensive "ultra" premium juices will usually be 50/50
