Replacement for SI 555

Hi all
Haven't posted in a long time because I was very happy with my simple set up. I use SI Volt 78mm batteries and for two years have vaped only 555 and I love it. I understand it is 80/20 pg vg. Since they are out of it for quite some time I have been trying to find something acceptable as a substitute. The closest I got it a couple of Halo (Freedom juice - Torque and Turkish tobacco) but here's the problem. They are 50/50 and suddenly I am in the bathroom constantly. I am blaming it on the higher VG but don't know if that is actually the cause but it started the same evening I started with the 50/50.

So...bottom line is I am looking for something that's as close to SI 555 with a 80/20 pg vg

Any ideas

Can't help you with that, never used it. If nobody here can help it might be worth going to the DIY section. Someone who is familiar with that juice might be able to give you a recipe to make your own. That would let you set the pg/vg ratio to what you want. Might be worth it anyway since there's no guarantee you will be able to buy juice in the future.

My only suggestion is to start a new topic and make an inquiry in the Smokeless Image sub-forum and the AltSmoke sub-forum. AltSmoke is sort of an unofficial sister company to Smokeless Image (separate owners but they share the same warehouse) and at one time sold Volt e-liquid.

Volt e-liquid is manufactured in China. I'm not certain what issues the companies are having getting their product into the US.

I am now finding since I posted that the biggest problem for me is the VG - it's the only thing I did different in the past 2 weeks and it's not a nice problem. I have a nice bathroom but really don't want to spend the day in it I understand SI is having a problem with the FDA and childproofing their liquids. They are not sure if they will be able to get approval -....or ....at least that is what I am told.

So now off to look for a 90/10 or even an 80/20 in any decent tasting liquid

You might want to give Hangsen e-liquid a try, they do have a predominant percentage of PG in their juice, but it is not printed what the ratio is. I know some are as high as 90/10 and others may go down to like 70/30 from what I could find out through some searching. Dekang may be another vendor to have a go at as I believe they are higher PG as well.

The fortune strike flavor is really good and has some nuttiness to my taste, but I DIY it at 60/40 pg/vg. perhaps if you do try and like some of the Hangsen tobacco flavors, you might give DIY a go with their flavorings, most of their tobacco flavors are excellent as a single flavor mix, and their recomended 5% flavor tends to be accurate for me for most of them, some I go much less than that.
