my first time vaping was at 30,000 feet over the pacific...

Picked up a craptastic cig-alike kit just before heading to hawaii for the expressed purpose of surviving the flight without a smoke...

I enjoyed it enough that when I used it the whole trip, without having a cigarette... but when i returned home i went back to smoking for a year before finally getting a real PV

lol I hit an look alike e-cig same as I would a regular cigarette and coughed so hard I thought I would choke to death. Ten minutes later I grabbed it and did it again! Same thing! And again! I also managed to burn up and ruin 3 of the prefilled cartomizers that came with it in one day! lol Some of us are slow to learn. So I broke down and actually read the instructions. Tried a long slow drag, gently inhaled and just knew I could be tobacco free. Sure was a rough start though!
I also did the juice sampling thing that tc5953 mentioned. Whew what a headache I ended up with!

I loved one the first time I tried it but unfortunately I couldnt get an hours battery life out of the darned thing. Is amazing how far weve come in a few short years.

I think that alone speaks volumes about the efficacy of the device. That people are that passionate and will devote countless hours to building mods and crafting juices should have been enough for the F.D.A a long time ago.

I bought a disposable for 9 bucks at the local gas station. I bought it in the midst of a tobacco smoking frenzy up to 20+ cigs a day. Needless to say if the disposable I bought was anything like all e-cigs in general, I would never use an e-cig. The disposable only last me about 2 hours. The vape was weak and I craved an analog half the time I was using it. Terrible experience. My experience with the volt kit I bought and all the e-juices I have has been much better.

Had a good friend introduce me to a c-Twist with a Kanger tank. He donated a few of his leftover juices to me.

First morning, I coughed until I figured to puff it before inhaling deeply. Went from 2 packs to about 4 cigs/day in the first couple of days.

I just bought a Vamo and a couple carto tanks. Big upgrade from an eGo. Anyway, I appreciate that my friend helped me get a decent start. PV users should volunteer to help people getting started. It needs someone with at least a little experience.

Cool Thread! :2cool:

It depends. My first vape was technically 2 years ago with a blu and very unsatisfying. Then, what I consider my first true vape about two weeks ago, was with the Vector Variable Volt and my smoking universe was shattered. From the first inhale the simple thought of a cigarette has made me cringe. Then the next day I had an intense dry vape that messed my throat up pretty bad. haha. Luckily that didn't deter me. I love vaping!
