Kayfuns and Russians are pretty easy to build. Like always if you are in the market for a clone then the quality can differ from device to device even between the same manufacturer.

The biggest issue with learning on the Kayfun/Russian is that you have to drain your liquid to get back at your coil. This can lead to frustration.

If you can afford it you might want to look at the expromizer. I have heard nothing but good things about it. It works like a kayfun but you can service your coil like a Taifun without draining your tank.

VapingwithTwisted420 reviewed it on his youtube channel recently. Todd also reviewed it. If I was in the market for a new Rebuildable Tank Atomizer this would be very high up on my list (if not the top!).

You can learn more about it here: eXpromizer - eXvape

I got a Russian 91% for my first one only a week ago. Did two regular coil builds, then 2 micro coil builds and the 2nd one was spot on...Been using it for several days no problem. The learning curve isn't as bad as it seems, like everyone says there are plenty of videos online to assist, I even went to my local B&M and the guy there showed me a few techniques which helped also.

I just got my Russian 91 a few days ago and absolutely love it. The coils are easy to build and even though the devices are a little more expensive than I'm used to I can see that it will last forever and the rebuilding supplies are peanuts. Combine that with mixing your own juice and it's about as cost effective as you can get. If you pay close attention to the YouTube videos you can wrap a coil in a couple of minutes. My fingers aren't as nimble as they used to be so I got me a lighted magnifier and it helps immensely. I also have a little tilting/swiveling vise with plastic jaws that I use to hold onto the base while I'm working on it. Saves me from having to chase the thing all over the table.

When I quit analogs and went to ecigs 3 years ago we did not have a good choice of RDA/RBA/RTA's that are user friendly,or easy to use like they do today. My first rebuildable was the DID which is a total P.I.T.A. to get a working coil on.

For first timers I always suggest the RSST to get there feet wet and work up from there.

The russian was my first ever experience with rebuild ables and it took me like one day and 3 or 4 builds to get a good coil and wick so based on my experience (and my cousin who got a kayfun 3.1 the same day, his first rebuild too) I would def recommend it for novice users.

Are you being serious about skipping the rebuilding "crap" as you put it? Or is that a joke?

Seriously I dove right into rebuilding and it took me all of 20 minutes watching a few videos and three builds / wicks to get it perfect...if he's not rebuilding or using a protank what do you recommend?
