First Timer Introduction and Thoughts

Gee I hope I'm doing this correctly. First, I will say that I am so glad I found this place. I hope to learn a lot!

I first started smoking the "real thing" around 2006...why? Went through a tough breakup with an ex-boyfriend...Since I'm a teacher, I couldn't find a legal "escape" outside of alcohol and cigs. I'm a lightweight when it comes to drinking...but I took to smoking like an expert. It relaxed me when I was wound up, angry, and scared. Since then, I've quit, started back, quit, started back, etc. I chew the gum like crazy.

So, one day about 3 weeks ago, I saw a guy standing at a kiosk in the mall, smoking an e-cig. He let me try a sample...I was hooked. I bought the Smoke 51 Trio Starter Kit.

I haven't had a real cig since. I enjoy the Smoke 51 but I don't seem to get that "buzz" like the real thing gave me. Oh, the cartridges? Ha! The guy at the kiosk said that they are comparable to about 2 packs. BS! One of them lasts me about a day and a half. I just ordered 3 more packs of the 18 mgs. We'll see how some fresh ones from the warehouse do me.

Meanwhile, I'm on here to give support as well as seek it. I'm off to see some reviews and chew the heck out of some nicotine gum, 4 mgs.

Read the reviews, take in all the advice, you will get the buzz of a normal cig.
Its all about trial and error.

Instead of buying carts, look up some suppliers on this forum and order some liquid to refill the carts you already bought. It's much cheaper. Also, I've heard many post about the "buzz". I'm sure some do, but I don't. The nicotine liquid we use doesn't have the whole tobacco alkaloid, so the associated psychoactive chemicals in a traditional cigarette aren't there. A high enough nic liquid will satisfy the craving, though. And welcome .

There is a learning curve, mentally and physically to vaping and if you'll give it your best you'll be smoke free in due time. The Joye 510 is a very popular model of choice among others here which may serve you better than your first model.

As far as your "counter" is concerned, once you have gotten 15 posts or more under your belt, then just click on my counter (for example) and it will take you to the website where you can get your own.
