First timer, SmokeTip ordered.

Hi everyone. I've been a smoker for 15 years, with many attempts at quitting sprinkled throughout. I have a 2 year old daughter and, although I don't smoke around her, I am increasingly aware of the risk it posses to her.
After a week or so of researching different PVs I decided on SmokeTip. I wanted to maintain the look and feel of an analog ( at least to start with ) so I went with this product based on reviews.
Thanks to everyone on this site. My lurking here has made my choice to try e-cigs an easier one!

Congrats! My Mom got a Smoke Tip last week and she loves it. I ordered her a bunch of pre-filled carts at V4L and she really likes them too.

Great decision thats what I use right at the moment you will want to get a PT later if you didnt already as the batt's only last 6-7 hours depending on how much you use it I was a heavy smoker.

Something else interesting you can do with KR808D-1 models (like V4L's Vapor King and Smoketip) is put a DSE901 atty and cart on it if you want a different experience. 901 attys are airy and tasteful. And if your battery is a manual, you could also use a 901 atty w/ a 901/510 drip tip. (auto batteries have an open hole in the middle of the threaded end so drip tips are not recommended)

I think all smoketip are automatic I know mine is and I dont remember that I had a choice when buying.

I started out w/Smoketip and still use them once in awhile. Fact, I just went to the movies last week w/a Smoketip. Great deal that the batts are lifetime guarantee. Had to send 2 back so far and no problems.

I've got my battery charging now. Going strictly by the recommended charging process (6-8 hours of charge time for initial charge). Going out for a couple of drinks tonight and leaving the analogs at home. Diving in head first!

Good for you! V4L has pre-filled carts that fit if you want to go that route. They can be re-filled. I'm not sure about the ones that come with the Smoke Tip. I believe someone here said they could. Seems like a good company to deal with.

Yeah, I've emailed a couple of times with questions and have gotten a response within 10 minutes both times! Customer service is outstanding there!

Hope you do ok while out for drinks tonight. That's always the hardest time for me to forget analogs. Lucky though, my local bar is fine with my vaping.

I did it! Went out with my brother in law tonight. Hit 3 bars, vaped all night, no a analogs! It wasn't even as hard as I thought it would be! The SmokeTip worked all night like a charm.. I can do this!
