BrotherBob, thank you for the links. I really appreciate it. I don't intend to go backward at this point. This is the tank I like so why not adjust my recipes based on how they vape through it? I get what you're telling me, but I've always jumped in a little further than I should on things I get interested in and learn from there.

So, if I were to place myself in your shoes, I would go about it by working in stages.

Wanted to revisit today. So when I made my batches, I jumped in a bit too far and mixed up 4 30ml batches with different flavors, all at a 50/50 mix. That straw/banana one hit like a truck and I referenced it. Since the ethyl alcohol was mentioned as a potential culprit, I wanted to try one of my other flavors. 15% TFA Berry Cereal. Nowhere NEAR the throat hit from the other one with ethyl alcohol.

I still want to work out the perfect percentages, but I think I can confidently put my finger on the LorAnn natural banana this time around.

Also on a side note you can go much higher with the vg%. In my aspire I use 80/20 vg/pg and do not get dry hits. This also depends on your environment. It is summer here and the juice does not thicken because of the cold weather when I am outside. In the winter I move to 70/30 vg/pg and have no problems. You can also try a quick steep on your harsh th flavor by using the hot water method and let it breathe and see if that solves the harsh hit. I have a recipie I use that takes the hot water method and 3 days steep after before I can even vape it and get the correct flavor and no perfume taste.
