I've been lurking in the DIY forum for a while now. Reading and rereading all of the stickies and lots of posts.
Finally, I decided it was time.
I loaded up carts at both WL and MFS. It was a few days ago, when WL was out of most things. So I got my nic, PG, VG and a few flavors from MFS. And that order came in yesterday (WL is coming tomorrow).

So, of course, the first thing I did was cut open the box and attempt my first mix.
Used the EJMU calculator. End result: 50/50, 6mg nic.

8% TFA Raspberry
4% LA Cherry
4% TFA Bavarian Cream
4% TFA Sweetener

And because I'm impatient, I had to try it as soon as I was done.
It tastes like a creamy Cherry/Raspberry Kool-Aid. And it's delicious!!!

A big thanks to all of you that have unknowingly helped me out with all of your posts/threads. And a HUGE thanks to glasseye for her continuing help. And breaktru for his amazing calculator.

Now, onto my questions:
How can I tell what base my flavorings are and at what percentages? I just left the EJMU at default saying that my flavors were 100%PG, but how do I know the actual answer?
For example, the bottle of cream just says TFA-Bavarian Cream. On MFS, PG is listed as an ingredient. So, should I have left that flavor as 100%PG like I did?
And, what would I do if I didn't find that PG was an ingredient? How would I know what to put?

Thanks in advance for all the help, everyone!

Are the base of the flavorings not put on the label? Mine usually are in small type. I don't even mess with the pg or vg setting in the EJMU calculator for the flavorings it's never affected the flavoring or the calcualation. I only enter what percent of each juice I want. This is just the way I use it.

I searched, but saw nothing. Perhaps I somehow missed it? At work right now, though. :(
Anyone with physical access to MFS-bought flavorings able to confirm or deny?

If you are Striving for PG to VG ratio perfection, you might consider your PG Based Flavorings to be 90% PG.

You can go to the TFA site and ingredents are listed however most do not list percentage of each. A few are listed as 5 ot 10% flavoring in such and such a base.

Perfumers Apprentice - Bavarian Cream Flavor

I leave ejuice me up calculator set at 100% PG for the flavors and do not worry about the possible slight errors which may happen.

Congrats on your first successful mix.
Most of the TFA flavorings are PG and I would just leave it at 100% PG. On TFA's site they do list what they are. They have a separate section for VG flavoring. So all you need to be concerned with is if the flavor is 100% PG or 100% VG. Sounds to me like you calculated it correctly.

If you really want to get exact most flavors are 10% flavor molecule desolved in a 90% PG solution. So you can set it to 90% but that's not really nessessary and actually a bit over the top.
