hey guys. i was wondering what you guys recommend as a first upgrade. I'm still gaping on my first kit. a 1600 mah ego style vv battery and an aspire (evod style) tank. i like my setup but i want to get my first upgrade. do you guys think i should start with a new battery or a new tank? i only have enough money right now to do one or the other. i was thinking an mvp my only drawback is that i think it would look silly having a tiny little 1.5 ml tank ontop of a giant box mod. do you think i should go with a mech mod?

Hello fellow baltimore resident! I have only been vaping a little over a month but upgraded from a ego twist about three weeks ago. (yeah i grew tired of those quick) I purchased a tesla mod from Discount Vapors and could not be happier. Then can be had cheaper from FT if you do not mind a wait. I was lucky enough to choose a aerotank with my first set up which has worked well but now have a few Kayfuns on the way. Yes im addicted! haha

As someone who has taken baby steps from my starter kit to high end devices i would suggest trying to ID what it is you want from your vape first. Is it max flavor? low maintenance? big throat hit? Etc etc.....

i wouls say low maintenance is important. thats why I'm hesitant on making the jump to a mech mod. they are pricey and on top of the mod i have to buy batteries and a charger.

For upgrading on a budget I definitely suggest the mvp2. They are reasonably priced and can often be found for about $40.00 shipped. They come with a decent tank so you won't have to make the decision to buy a mod or a tank. It is also a lot smaller than I expected. The box shape took a little getting used to, but it is very comfortable in my small hand. Big plus is the incredible battery life, it'll go for at least a day with heavy use, and can even charge your cell phone if needed.
I have a much more expensive mod as well, but I still use my MVP. It vapes like a champ. In my opinion, you can't go wrong with this nice little mod if quality performance on a tight budget is your goal.

Get the MVP 2! You will love it!:)

First, it is not big, really. I am female, and was worried about that. It is smaller than it looks in the pictures and fits very comfortably in my hand. Think of a small, kind of fat cell phone, lol. I just measured mine, and it's 3/4 inches deep, and only 3-1/2 inches long. Also, I had some evod clearomizers from my first ego set, which are not big tanks at all. They look perfectly fine on the MVP.

My favorite to use with it, however, are the Smok Tech Pyrex Aro tanks. I don't have to worry about plastic cracking with some of the juices, and they have been hassle free for me. No leaking or gurgling, and the heads/coils are inexpensive, too. Here is a link to check them out:

No reason not to go for a Mech Mod, but it's rather a leap from what you have now. I'd just say "read up" if you do go down the mech route.

MVP's are not that big, are regulated, and are very well respected. I've seen loads of them used with loads of different tanks and they all look fine.

Your choice really, whatever you think works for you is what will hopefully work for you - just read up on the basics of mech mods if you head in that direction and you will be fine :D
