First vape in the morning...

Hello, all you non-smokers! Glad to finally re-join your ranks again! After reading through these forums and doing my research, I ordered my starter kit and started vaping 10 days ago, and haven't had an analog cigarette since! I'm still experimenting with different flavors, though I've already got some standouts(V4L Cafe Mocha and Vanilla are excellent!) With all this cold weather down here (well, cold for Florida, anyways) it's awesome to get my nicotine fix without having to bundle-up and stand on the porch!

The only time I feel the slightest wistful nostalgia for a smoke is first-thing in the morning. I'm experimenting to see what's the best for my morning vape and was wondering what everyone else vapes first-thing in the morning to kick-start the day?

I've tried a few different flavors like cappucino, chocolate, RY4, and even mint in the morning but I still feel like I'm missing something until after I get moving for the day. I'm thinking maybe I just need a higher nicotine cart just for that morning smoke, but figured I'd get some advice here before I try upping my dose. I'm doing great the rest of the day with 18mg carts, no withdrawl and no overdose headaches...

The mornings are difficult for me too. When I have my coffee, sometimes I feel a weird "longing" like I'm missing something. It's not very strong or very often, but sometimes I get it.

I used to do my 18mg in the mornings, then 6-12mg throughout the day. The extra nic in the morning (in a nice espresso) did the trick! Now I'm capped at 12mg at all times, and generally use a vanilla cream flavor when I wake. If I feel like I'm missing something, I'll reach for something tobacco-esque (fire cured honey or something). Usually tricks my mind just enough.

Thanks for all the tips! I was hesitant to up the strength, but I'd reasoned that it was just for the morning fix, and I've learned the hard way that when I'm trying to convince myself of something it's best to get an outside opinion! I'll put in an order for something in 24mg strength for sure, then...the only remaining question is what flavor, hmmmm? Sooo many to choose from, and every single one is better than the "burnt leaves" taste that I was used to for so long! :)

The morning thing is a whole lot a mental aspect as well (IMO)
Just like after eating a meal.
I agree with upping the nic for the morning (I'm 36 for first morning vape)
and then I do 18 to 24 thru out the day.

The menthal thoughts about our old friend (enemy) does go away in time.
I am only at this about 45 or so days, and now it's completely gone.

One thing that helps me is I have an extra battery so I leave my charged PV assembled and ready for when I get up. But overnight the atty dries, the juice settles in the cart, etc. so I usually have to top it off to get it going. I always used to have 2 smokes (at least) when I first got up, so I just vape 2-smokes worth (at least) when I get up. That juice has to be flowing though - I want to feel it in my throat and make nice vapor too.

I just use my regular juices which are mellow complex tobaccos with medium TH - BWB Casablanca, FSUSA Desert Ship (and sometimes I add a bit of their Chocolate since I am not a coffee person).

I usually vape 18mg myself, but I got some juice from nhaler and their stuff is 24mg, I find that the 24mg RY4 is great in the morning to get you going. I personally like some type of tobacco flavor in the morning but later in the day I usually switch over to the sweeter flavors. You should try a stronger nic in the morning to see if that gives you that morning buzz, I found the 24mg to do the trick for me.
