So I just received my JOYE510 from e-smokeytreats.com today. I was using a usb pt until my first batt charged (took it out after four hours, hope that was long enough on the first charge). Just took my first few drags with the battery on.

Overall, I am undecided on vaping. It is obviously much different than analogs, but its also a lot different that i expected. I don't really know what I expected, but it definitely wasn't this. I have smoked 1 1/2 analogs since my first vape, and I don't really prefer one over the other at this point. Theyre just plain different. Maybe I was expected an immediate buzz, or an intense taste. I don't really know what I think yet.

I'm going to give this thing a try. The fact that its healthier than cigs alone is enough for me to really put an effort into it (hence why i just ordered a DSE601 and 801 from ruyandirect), and I pray that I begin to love it. It definitely took me a while to love (and need) analogs, so I assume ill be a huge fan by the time my next two devices arrive.

thank you all so much for your help and knowledge.

I know exactly what you're talking about. My first experience vaping was about 2wks ago, also with the 510, and it was just too different for me to decide whether I liked it or not.

But even while I wasn't sure what I thought of it, I tried using it in place of cigarettes.. when I had a cig craving, I'd vape, and the throat hit of the 510 along with all the nicotine completely suppressed my craving for an analog.

So try using it exclusively for a day or two, if you can, and then try a cigarette - I bet at that point, you'll realize how nasty cigarettes are compared to e-cigs.

I don't smoke analogs anymore.

Also, regarding your other thread, give the atomizers some time to break in, as others said.. For the first week of use, my atomizer was really inconsistent.. now it vapes like a champ, all the time. Once you get used to vaping, you'll probably be able to get used to giving it a rest when the atomizer gets hot (should be 3-6 drags, then a rest of anywhere from 30 seconds to 3 minutes before it's cooled down significantly)

The technique took me a little while to get down too.. I think the best advice I've read is to press the button a second before you actually start pulling - cause there's a slight delay before everything actually starts heating up. If you're using an automatic battery, the equivalent of this is the short primer puff, followed by a full longer one.

Welcome to vaping :). I had the same experience as you. I thought the vapor was too light but then I got a headrush from continuously vaping and then I realized the greatest advantage of e-cigs over cigs (other than the health reason of course) - you can smoke it indoors and it won't leave a smell so you can get your fix any time you want. Start trying different flavors and you'll soon see that vaping also offers very different experiences :)
