Well today makes a full week with my first Reo. It's also the first full week that I haven't touched or wanted to touch an analog.

Thank you for this fantastic little device Rob. I'm a single father of 3 boys 7,9 and 11. They have asked me stop smoking several times over the years but, I just couldn't put them down for the other e-cigs I have tried. I could never get them to produce the vape nor flavor that I desired.

For any new people looking to move into Reoville but, think a mech isn't for them. Or that building your own coils on a RM2 seems daunting. Go for it! Learn battery safety and get something to check your ohms and go for it. If I can figure it out in a few hours anyone can.

I'll stop taking up your time now. Just wanted to share. Have a happy holiday season my new friends and vape on.

Congratulations, from a fellow new user / new quitter.

It wasn't actually the Reo that 'pushed me over the edge' - I bought my Reo as a present to myself for being pretty sure I'd finally stopped, in a sense.

But I do get a sense of relief knowing it's there, and things will be easier. I can take it apart and experiment with coil designs if I want to - I doubtless will, because part of succeeding at this for me was turning the whole thing into a hobby.

If I don't, I'm confident with the bare minimum of maintenance it'll just sit there, working consistently, for a long while...

Happy holidays!

Congrats! On both the Reo and quitting!

Now that you're off the ickys you'll feel better every day...I've been off for 8 months after smoking for 28 years and I couldn't be happier. Wish I found vaping sooner!

As far as the Reo..I'm in love with mine. So much so that after 8 days with it, I just ordered another. I think my shiny tube mods might be taking a rest for a while...

Congrats again! Its a BIG deal!

Hell yeah! This is the kind of thing that puts smiles on faces.

Enjoy your Reo! Grab a second when you can. I love grabbing my second Grand, all ready to go to switch juice flavors. The Reo is the most functional and durable way to get a world-class vape on a consistent basis. I know that my Reos will fire perfectly 99.9% of the time every time I grab one, and that other .01% is because I either haven't tightened the screws enough or I need a wick change. That's what is key to staying analog-free - a reliable, satisfying, worry free vape that only a Reo can provide.

Congrats 5tab1e! It does take some commitment in the beginning to learn and experiment with what works the best for you, but once you figure it out there is no turning back. I am hoping to convert my father-in-law to vaping who is in a similar situation as you were, and your post gives me hope.

What flavor have you found to help you transition from analogs to vaping?
How long have you been vaping before you got the REO?

I started with a small overly priced ego ce4 starter kit that I bought while on vacation back in July.. That got me interested enough to buy a lavatube v2.

I was good for a month or so just trying different juices but, I couldn't for the life of me find a juice I could vape all day because they all had a aftertaste that stuck in my throat that I can't really explain ( think using lemon pledge in a not so ventilated room.)

Guess about a month ago I decided to try again and switched to a 100% vg or 80/20 vg/pg mixes. The aftertaste was gone. I suppose I just can't vape pg well.Boba's Bounty and a Reo RM2 combo has been my lifesaver.
