Not what I was expecting. I was using a small funnel inside 30ml bottles and for the life of me I couldn't get the nic or pg/VG to flow into the bottle unless I lifted the funnel off of the bottle. Air pressure or something was holding the liquid in the funnel. This made it a very aggravating experience. I was using these small stainless cooking funnels, I even tried a couple of difference funnel sizes.

This isn't rocket science son what am I doing wrong? Any ideas? I store all my bases in glass so a drip type tip is not going to work. What am I missing?

I have also thought about this problem, but haven't tried it yet.
Try putting a piece of Kanthal folded over the bottle opening, before putting in the funnel.
This should create a "air escape".

Gezzzz.....what a idea.
I just lifted up the funnel a bit when I got a airlock and once the funnel emptied I just dried the top lip of the jug and the funnel with a paper towel then it worked fine again. I just bent a chunk of 24 kanthal and it works just dandy, enough to see a air escape on the jug.
Here's what ECF is all about... I've been vaping 929 days, doing DIY juice for 300 of those days now and just learned something new and so basic I have to shake my head in shame to myself. :)

Some Funnels have Ribs on the Outside so that the funnel doesn't make an Air Seal with the Container you are pouring into.

I bought droppers that screw on to my 110ml bottles that I store my VG and PG in. I microwave the VG for 10 to 15 seconds which thins it out and makes it very easy to drip into my mix. I mix by weight and this helps with the "no cleanup needed".

Thanks for all the suggestions.. I will look for the ribbed funnels and different caps for my bottles. In the mean time I'm going to throw a strand do kanthal over the bottle or maybe a toothpick??

A Toothpick will work.

Just Remember to Grab It when you lift the Funnel.

Your funnels are SS so another option would be to use a pair of pliers to gently squeeze in the sides of the funnel. This would reshape the funnel and allow the air to escape.

That sounds like a fix I can live with. Thank you!
