My auto passthru stopped working! The thread has always been a little loose in the housing, but I didn't worry about it. I just woke up, and nothing.

So, I pulled the thread out and pinched the housing a little with pliers, and it worked for a minute, but now I can't get it going again. I would just replace it with a manual, but I'm pretty well stocked, so I don't need another order yet...

Any ideas on getting a better connection between the threading and the housing?

My passthrough is only a week or two old, I just got in a car plug in usb. I accidentally ordered the old one and sent an email asking for them to change it to the newer one but didn't hear anything back. I would guess with the busy holiday backlog it may have been missed. ( My bad, not yours Steve) I wasn't real worried about it and figured I would try what came in and see then order the right one if I needed to.
It seems to work but is weak. I think I got the old one as I ordered. Anyway, after using my passthrough in the car it kind of stopped working once or twice here at my desktop. I unplugged and replugged and it worked again.
I'm wondering if the low voltage from the old car plugin is messing up my passthrough due to low voltage output.
I probably wont use it in the car again until i re-order th right one.
Anyone's experience with this would be appreciated.
