completely dissemble the switch. liberally blast all parts with wd40. wash with dish detergent and warm water dry all parts completely. put a few drops of ptfe(Teflon) oil around the center post of the switch. this is firearm oil, a cheap brand is rem-oil.
reassemble.
now any of these should work like butter. in fact better than most mech mods in general. this applies to the jd and all clones.
I know this has been discussed before but this method will have it smooth as melted butter. just do not set it down unlocked!
your mod that did not work is now probably your best one!
