"Fixing" flavors you originally disliked...

My last order came in, and I was pretty disappointed with my choices.

I got Margarita-18 cartos, and they are way too flowery-perfumey for my taste. I can't stand how they taste on exhale.

Root Beer Float-11's taste good on the inhale, but the exhale has a nutty flavor that just doesn't belong in a root beer float. They taste a bit better on the PT vs. the battery, but... not quite what I was expecting.

Irish Cream-18's weren't quite sweet enough for my taste... and just left me wishing I was vaping a Smilin' Special Menthol instead. The irish cream tastes like an unfinished Smilin' to me.

Well, I decided to top off an Irish Cream carto just now with the only juice I have available, Kamel Menthol. Surprisingly, it's strikingly similar to Smilin' Special Menthol!

I'd love to hear what juices you've used in combination with carts you didn't originally like to 'fix' them. What juices are the easiest to mix with across a variety of other flavors?

I find the most odd flavors that normally wouldn't go well together end up being the most delicious.

Vanilla, chocolate, mint & menthol are my favorites to add to other flavors. But menthol with cognac was not a good idea.

I find that mixing a little liquid sucralose goes a long way in making flavors better.

I like clove..just not as a vape..but with coffee added it is wonderful!

today i made a mix of apple (not sweet), strawberry(perfumey), vanilla(very sweet). Its not too bad could have used a few more drops of vanilla. I usually mix peppermint with stuff that has little flavor and maybe some vanilla. I have RY4 and it is sweet syrup like and nasty cant fix it tried to add it to apple but even a few drops is too much. I also have caramel same problem. I will keep trying it will all be used up one day.

Sounds like you're not a fan of the sweet flavors! Which vanilla are you using? I'd like to find a sweet vanilla, without accidentally getting something that's flowery or perfumey.

Cuppucinno - the 'cream' is a bit overpowering in this flavor. But adding a bit of cinnamon roll and a touch of chocolate fixes it up.

555 - too 'thick' or something, it doesn't agree with me. Mixing it with Parlament fixes it up very well.

Kamel - can't fix that one. I can't even have one puff of it, its just awful. Gave it to a friend (who actually doesn't mind it lol).

@flbutterfly1, I find RY4 too sweet as well. Perhaps try adding a subtle tobacco flavor (Parlament works for me). Shame V4L dont sell 'cutting' liquid so we can lighten the flavors up.

I like mixing 3/4 of a cool nobacco 5ml juice bottle with 1/4 of smiling special for more vapor and different taste which wasn't bad at all...But last week I needed a change and decided to add honey flue cured from LE to 3/4 cool and this mixture is quite great. It gave the cool a more sweeter smoky taste with a lot more vapor. I've been using this mixture as an all day vape since and will do so till I run out of HFC since I don't care for it on its own.. After that I plan on mixing cool with wow chocolate if the chocolate is on the sweeter side, if not than your thread will come in handy for suggestions


Kamel and Cool = not bad
french pipe and cool = somewhat okay
rootbeer = yuck with all samples I've tried it with so far, maybe the vanilla others mentioned will help it...hmm there is a bastille sale right now lol..

Now that I've got a few more juices and pre-filled's to play with, I'm having a lot of fun with this.

Right now on the passthru I've got a Classic Caramel Mocha Frapp topped off with a few drops of Butterscotch.

Who needs coffee and dessert?

I found out late that I'm not a fan of the "ice cream"-type flavors, but a 50/50 mix with a strong Cherry flavor with a bit of Chocolate brings them together nicely.

Now if someone could help me find something to mix the Dr. Pepper flavor with, that'd be nice!

Hmm... I found the Wowboy to be good for vapor and TH, but wasn't particularly wild about the flavor. Added about 20% chocolate, and now it's WOW, boy!!!!!

I too have been wondering what to do with Dr Pepper, cherry is in the mail thats a good idea. I am going to look at mccormick's flavs at the grocery tomorrow need some banana my chocolate banana tastes like unsweetened chalkolate, I have afew other flavs that need some taste added.
