Just got my order in. Thanks!

Danno - Bad - Questions on the thicker tube.
You say it still fits inside the ego cone. The ego cones have an ID of 0.375" and the clears I have measure approx. 0.368" OD. So if they are thicker then it must have been added to the inside thus making the ID. smaller. If the inside is smaller how do the new fat wicks fit in there without being squeezed against the cup and the wall? Did they change the Dia. of the ceramic cup? And how can drip tips still fit if the ID is smaller? I'm not worried about them holding a minuscule amount less of juice but I'm just curious as to how they have made the walls thicker.

The ID is not affecting the wicking performance on what we have tested, etc. We can't vouch for all drip tips but our clear drips work well, its a little snug but they work...you don't want to jam but kind of twist into place...

Yup. I found on the older ver. that I have that a little juice around the O-ring area and a twist works pretty well. I've even beveled the inside edge a little to remove the sharp edge. You can't remove much or bad things will happen. Just enough to take the edge off.

Hmmmm.... That sounds like what I tell the wife right before I have a drink. lol

Has anyone received their CE-2 X's yet??? I'm so anxious to start reading reviews! Mine shipped Thursday and hope to have them tomorrow!

Received mine on Saturday and found that due to the thicker tube it was impossible to use any of my drip tips, even one of the clear drip tips from GotVapes. Have not had any wicking issues but I went ahead and have already syringe modded the first one I tried. Can't stand the little mouthpiece that comes with them. Did notice that when I removed the tube, the battery end is flared to fit on the connector and the inner fill ring has a smaller outside diameter to fit in the thicker tube. Had to use an old fill ring ring in the syringe for a snug fit. Using XL 2.6/2.8 on an ego/riva.

I have also had no problem with wicking. I did not have a problem getting the GV drip tip in though either. By no problem I mean it was a little work but it fit and it has no problem staying in. Once it was in I can take it in and out pretty well.

Are you guys talking about the clear GV drip tips and not the little rubber DT's that come with them, correct? If so, I've got a couple of the clear ones in case my 'standard' black one gives me trouble! Whatever it takes....cause my regular black one is the culprit in causing the thinner tubes to crack (no matter how gentle I am getting it in and out)...shouldn't be a problem with these new thicker tubes!

Yes the GV clear tips. I just opened a second carto, used some juice to lubricate the drip tip and was finally able to get it on. It is definitely a tight fit. Has to be stressing the tube.

Yes MsBree I had to work to get it in the first time but have not had any problems as of yet. I have put in and taken it out a couple times now .... no cracking yet.
