I'm confused. Does the Spinner work with devices other than the Evod and Protank?

Unless I read your post wrong, you tried using a Protank on the Spinner that had already shorted out an ego, why?

I agree with BobbyQ, especially considering you already had one Ego short out, either a short in the topper or too low of a resistance.

However without knowing if the Evod works on something else and what the ohm reading is, and/or if toppers other than the Evod and Protank work on the Spinner, it is hard for me to say.

Here is a link to an Ego sub forum, maybe someone there has the answer. Try searching for Spinner flashing light maybe. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/ego-type-models/

Hi, I use the Vision Spinner with both a Vivi Nova 3ml, and the U-Tank, with no issues at all.
This does sound like a faulty Spinner though. It should surely not short out without a fault. My only issue was a dead unit after 5 months, but was replaced by vendor.

I have the 1300 mah Spinner which I use many different toppers with, Vivi Nova and carto tanks among them, really a nice device. Your vendors must be better with replacements than the one we have over here, I can't think of any vendor here that would replace a 5 month old ego. Sadly the China supersite Fasttech has better warranties than most of the vendors here.

The O.P. stated the Protank head he used on the Spinner has already shorted out one ego, and the Evod is doing the same thing as the bad head, causing me to wonder if both toppers are bad or if the Spinner is bad. One sure way to find out if it is the Spinner, is put an known good topper on it to see what it does. Or try the Evod on something else to see if it works. Without some way to tell which is the problem, I don't know what to tell the O.P. My Spinner only flashes when I hit the timed cutoff.

BobbyQ has a good suggestion, try recharging the battery. It is possible that the battery has been drained and it may need recharged.

Also crxess below has some very good pointers.

I recently bought a Vision Spinner and found that when I attach an Evod BCC to it, the white light flashes four or five times. It did it also with my Protank, with the same atomiser that shorted out my eGo-C battery.

Any thoughts?

Yes, if you know it shorted your Ego:

You need to rethink your Game plan!

Toss the coil before you do more damage!

Also, stop over tightening the Atomizers - this crushes down on the pin and shorts the battery.
Snug to contact and STOP!

eGo Type Models

Sorry if it was unclear. I thought the Protank shorted out the eGo-C battery, but that has turned out to be incorrect. What I'm wondering about is the flashing light on the Spinner. Both the evod bcc and the Protank have produced a flashing light when I've tried to press the button to activate the atomiser.

I had very little sleep last night and am struggling to be literate. Sorry about that.
