I've been using these Aw IC protected 18650 2600mah 's for my Super T Precise Plus 18650. I'm not sure if I'm pushing hard on the firing button but the positive end of the battery is becoming indented. Now my precise isn't firing well ,I have to push the bottom button several times and sometimes it fires sometimes not ??? Is this normal for these batteries to cave in a-little like this or am i applying too much pressure to the switch?? I even added an extra washer to the bottom button but still not working well at all. I moved over to the 16340 and made sure it wasn't the lavatank, lavagen, etc.. everythings working fine on the 16340.. The set up is pretty simple insert the battery negative end first screw on the cap and push...used to fire every time .. Now what??

Good moring finaritwo. You can readjust the Oring under the battery to remove any up and down battery movement. If you have one thin (.070) thick oring under the battery in the bottom of the battery chamber, you can switch to one thick (.100 thick). If you have one thick one (.100) switch to two thin (.070 + .070). Readjust switch throw as desired by adding or removing washers to the switch center post.

It's the positive end of the batteries on both of them. They're indented to a point where the center post of the 18650 is sitting on top of the battery when fired but it's actually sitting on the edges of the battery's contact area. It's no longer making enough contact to fire at all, with either of the two batteries.I only received one washer with the 18650 so I borrowed the washer off of the 16340 to adjust the switch throw to attain bettor contact. It didn't work either. The battery is pushed as far as it can go right up against the cap post but as i said the seat of the post makes contact but the post itself is left unable to to touch anything. It's hard to explain in words but i'll try to figure out a way to take a few pic's to show what i mean.

Yes.

Maybe you could try a really thin magnet. 1/32". Flat tops can often be problematic.

As long as they don't shift all is good.

I saw on one of the flashlight forums where they had hooked into the little vents and were able to raise up a crushed terminal enough to make them usable.

I don't know the PV you are using, but with most .... bangers a little routine maintenance (cleaning) of the switches mating surfaces is a good thing.
