flat top battery adapter

It's getting near time for me to replace my batteries and I noticed over on RTD's site they have something called a flat top battery adapter. This is interesting to me because I only own Reo's so like to stick with button tops but have an itch to try some of these higher amp batteries that are flat tops. Anyone use one of these battery adapters? I just don't know if I'll like the button throw with a flat top so that's why I'm asking. That's actually the only thing that's stopped me from buying flat tops in the past and these adapters would take the button throw issue out of the equation for me. I tend to lean toward leary when I hear of something new and like to know that it'll be something safe to use before I try it.

Maybe posting in the REO forum would get some replies?
I'd be concerned it might add too much length, but not sure............

I think your right puffon, the Reo subforum members may have some good input. I'm wondering about the length too as well as arcing/noalox/deoxit issues.
