This may seem like a duh question, but my flat top battery isn't touching the positive post of my little battery holder. Can I just put a bit of solder to put a nipple on the battery holder to solve the issue?

PS, the true duh part of it all is I didn't even think about this... I wasn't getting any power, and had no idea why for the longest time.... ;) But yea, if that and a ruined switch due to a super glue incident are the worst things that happen on my first diy adventure, I'll throw a party and dance around like a kangaroo.

what about battery spacer? is it too much?
I could order some (nowhere to buy stuff like in my tourist driven town) but I was hoping for a faster solution. But yea, I can wait. No rush, I'm just excited.
Soldering batteries is a bad idea. (Heat...) There is a reason why lead tabs are tack welded onto batteries in a split second instead.
I meant add solder to the battery holder, not the battery itself.

I have resolved many gap problems with a folded piece of foil. :) and yes a gob of solder on the battery holder works..

Excellent... thank you!

if you cannot take it out make a paste of flour and sugar add butter bake for 15-20 mins
now what you have is a butter cookie

Do I need protected or unprotected batteries for my ezbake oven??

Just got the new switches in today... filed a hole for the button, soldered some stuff, tested it, and... It works!!! I built a thing!! :D :D :D

Now I'm just waiting for the jbweld to set.
Next adventure: getting the 510 in exactly the right place to screw in an internal 35x15mm cartotank.
