Sorry if this has been answered 1,124 times before but I couldn't readily find the answer searching. I have been using flat tops for my SVD and Vamo that work fine. Today I had a wild hair and ordered a New model sigelei # 24 because it can go really short and had a detachable D ring with it ( a detachable D ring was what I was after). But it is a mechanical mod and I wasn't sure If the flat tops were OK to use in this thing. Their website doesn't have much info nor does where I ordered it from.

Thanks all.

I always keep small battery magnets just in case my flattops dont work. Just place one on top of your battery top positive post and bamo, youre in buisiness. Some people use a small drop of solder on their top posts of the battery but I like the magnets since they can be removed easier. magnets are great also for charging flattops in the charger.
