I have been VERY happy with dual 6 wrap 25G coils at 3/32 ID.
26G was too cool of a vape, 24G took a bit too long to heat up. 25G is the best of both worlds for me....that and I prefer simple coil builds. I don't rebuild for fun, I rebuild to vape.
Hmmm, have you tried twisting your coils? twist two strands of 28 guage wires and build a dual coil with it. More contact with juice, more flavor, if that make any sense.
To maximize flavor, I find the atty design is more important then the coil,
Atties with smaller chambers where you can restrict air flow provide the best flavor
For many, atties such as Cyclone, Divo, Chalice provide the best flavor
I think that fogger has really good flavor as the chimney build is small and it is fine going up to 30 watts, hence vapor production is there. TS might want to look at the lemo or the up coming billow rta.

Right or wrong, I agree with this. To me, my kayfun mini gets better taste than my lite. I actually like higher gauge. I use a 30ga @ 1.9ohms. I prefer a lukewarm vape, so I usually set it at 4 volts, although it tastes great up to 5 if you like warmer vapes. The cloud is probably not sufficient enough for most vapors, but it almost seems like I am inhaling it out of the bottle.
I recently tried a twisted coil (28) built to 1. ohm and have it in a Sigelei Taj Ji. Boatloads of flavor. Before that I would say Taifun GT. Mine are built at 1.7 OHms a flavor is intense. Much ore so than a Kayfun I think
