I've tried Lorann's, capella's and fairies finest:) Some of the Lorann's are good, I like a lot of the capella's, fairies not so much:) But everyone is different:) I'd like to try the flavourart, was this on the usa or uk site for tw?
RIMP:evil:
You tried concentrates? or extracts?

The Flavorart's at TW is listed on both sites, usa and uk:)

The Lorann's says "highly concentrated flavorings":) It's a concentrated extract I believe:)

found this site: SnoWizard Inc. | SnoWizard's Flavor List

I wrote them and asked them ingredients, I'm trying to find something stronger, with more flavor.

I have some of Faeries Finest too, but want to find something more potent, if possible

Yes I agree about the fairies finest, like quite a few of my capella's:) I didn't see the flavourart on the tw us site:confused: I'll check out the other link you posted, thanks:)

looks like it has sugar in it, probably other ingredients as well... it's made for snow cones.

Get Flavorart flavors at www.liberty-flights.com fast shipping and they carry all the flavorart flavors in the U.S.

Also check out the the perfumers apprentice : New! - Professional Flavors for DIY (Do it Yourself Flavoring)

They have started their own flavor section for vapers. Linda has been working hard in this area. She is sending me some sample tobacco flavors to try. Cant wait.

What bugs me about the Perfumers Apprentice flavours is that there is no suggestion whatever as to the amounts needed.

Since by now I found flavours which are occasionally added at 25% (some LorAnns), others at 10% (Decadent Vapors), the next at like 1% (Flavourart) and others at 0.1% (a German flavour shop), by now I sure would like an idea about that before I order.

Edit, as I just saw SandyK's question: So far, I only tried the Desertship, which on its own is OK. Got two more today, and spoke to FA this morning (their chat system works fine) and was told that it probably gets even better with one of the darker tobacco flavours mixed in. Which is exactly what I will try later.

Dan, have you tried the Flavour Art tobacco flavors yet?? If so, what did you think??

I have only tried their tobacco flavor, all of them. And I like the turkish bend best, mellow sunset, and usa mix (cowboy). Have a few fruit flavors in the mail, will try them when they get here. Too many flavors not enough base LOL

They have a complete list of ones that DO contain diacetyl here, so avoid these flavors:
About Diacetyl

Dan

Very glad they added that diacetyl page. There are a lot of flavors they use it in. People really do need to pay attention. Besides diacetyl, there are other flavor compounds that can do similar nasty things to lungs, namely ketones, acids, and aldehydes, and I am assuming that several of their meat flavors use those. Diacetyl is simply the one that got the most exposure because americans love their buttered microwave popcorn, and several packers were killed or need lung transplants now. Some of the oils are also known lung irritants:

Cinnamon (cinnamaldehyde)
Clove (Sorry, Dan, it is eugenol)

If a flavor makes you cough or give a scratchy throat, back off on the amount, or else do not vape it. I have had a few that seemed like they would be fine that do this consistently. And just because some have no problem with a flavor does not mean it will be ok for you. IMHO, as a chemist, it is the flavors that are the biggest risk in vaping, and we know precious little about them, as they were meant for food, not inhaling, and some flavor makers are reluctant to disclose their secrets. Lorann's butter is not diacetyl, but I can't add even a tiny amount to an juice without lots of coughing. Listen to your lungs, they do know what is best for them.

I have to admitt that I checked out Diacetyl, and ordered anyway. Because obviously you need more than very small amounts of that, and nobody knows what else messes up with our lungs if we vape flavours anyway.

And I sincerely do not believe, as some people elsewhere claim, that the Chinese producers of eJuices do test their flavours before they put them into the bottle. Or any other producers, for that matter.

So what the heck. In a few years everything will be either neat and regulated, or prohibited. May as well have some fun in the meantime.

Yup, good advice. I've had similar probs with several flavourings and/or commercial juices and do not use them anymore.
