Flavor extracts containing Ethyl Alcohol?

I've noticed a lot of TPA/TFA flavors have "ethyl alcohol" in them. I've used a few in my mix and you can taste something a little harsh in the back of your throat and I'm assuming that it's the alcohol. Are these safe to vape and how can I get rid of it? My juice is perfect, but the harshness is not the type of throat hit I like. I'm thinking of just letting it air out in a jar and let the alcohol evaporate, but this can be a headache if making a large batch....

Some do but most contain PG. They are safe to vape and if the alcohol is to over whelming leave the cap off the bottle for 24 hours. Also if your not steeping your mix that will also effect the strength of the alcohol smell and taste.

Like Danny said, you need to let the alcohol evaporate overnight. Steeping is also very important for the flavors to meld correctly. Imagine yourself in the south of France, wearing a beret, making a fine wine. Patience, young grasshopper, patience.

True, but throwing away bad batches of juices gets expensive and frustrating.

Patience may be over rated but as the old saying goes "Good things come to those who wait".

What are your recipe percentages and the steps involved? Maybe we can help diagnose this.

I usually heat steep my liquids, bowl of dry rice heated in microwave for a few minutes, let the bottles sit open in the hot rice until cool. If after doing this two or three times the stuff still is not "up to standards" I will set it aside for a week or two and then try it. I have been pleasantly surprised more than once! First time this happened I had a bottle that some boob forgot to label (yes it was me) found this unlabeled bottle and it was really tasty stuff... but I didn't know what recipe it was. That was a sad day.
