Flavor ghosting in genesis atty

I have a gamma tank genesis atty that I was vaping Pink Lemonade and tasted great. Then I wanted to switch out the flavor so I vaped all that was in the tank and put in a new flavor. After two tanks of the new flavor I can still taste the pink lemonade. How can I get rid of the pink lemonade flavor?

I use a syringe and rinse out the old juice, flushing it several times, making sure that the water comes out the wick hole around the wick. Then I dry burn the water off of the wick, turning it up so the water will wick down the wick and burn off. Other than taking out the wick and having different wicks for different juices, this seems the best option.

I do pretty much the same thing, with one addition. After I rinse with the syringe, I fill with very hot water, put the gennys in a mug and soak them in boiling water for about an hour. Then I remove the water and rinse again with hot water.

I let them sit for a few minutes then do the same drying/dry burn you do.

It works very well in getting the taste of the previous juice out.

I do basically the same, except I use Everclear instead of water.

I do the same exact thing as donnah and it works well. Though with tap water, I thought I detected a slightly off flavor in my Bounty Hunter. It was really good, just not quite 100%. But in 20 minutes, it was back up to speed. I thought the next time I'd use distilled water, as I wonder if the hard water from the tap may have imparted something to the wick in the drying out process. But this Everclear sounds like it might be even better. What is Everclear, anyway? I've got it in my mind that it's some kind of licquor. Do you get it in a licquor store?

Hmm.. I may try some sterile water next time. I work at a hospital and have a couple bottles here (I knew if I kept them I'd find a use for them LOL)

I don't think everclear would last very long here
